Great coffee house and a great location! My first stop on my Seattle Cafe Passport!

Drinks: I always order a hot coco at every cafe because if you mess up hot coco it’s not a good sign. The hot coco was good but I was disappointed they don’t make their own whipped cream. The lavender ice latte was great!

Food: omg that banana bread is a MUST and I wish I had the recipe!! Bagel was great too – would be better with a spicy mayo or aioli.

Decent amount of seating and I loved people watching here.

Ordered a Tahiti maple laté, which was thoughtfully flavored and great on a cold autumn day, along with a borek. The latter was stuffed with spinach and feta, and the version they are serving seems quite healthy, not greasy like a traditional borek. Would probably skip this next time at it was expected.

Still a wonderful venue to spend a quiet hour in the morning. Highly recommend!

So good I started composing this review as the food arrived, before I’d even eaten. A warm greeting from happy staff, attention to detail on my order, a magnificent turkey sandwich and good decaf Americano. Well done team you made our day today!

Got the milkyway and mocha coffee which were both fantastic! Rich and delicious flavors. Got the lox and bacon, egg, n cheese bagels which were good, but flavors weren’t super flavorful in the lox and was a bit salty for the bacon, egg, n cheese. Also got the walnut sour cream coffee cake which was delicious, freshly baked, and had a good amount of cinnamon n walnuts. Gave it a 4 mainly cuz the bagel sandwich’s were okay. Would give service a 5, baristas were super nice and friendly.

I had an excellent experience at Cherry Street Coffee. The building is beautiful and the staff (baristas and cashier) were friendly and efficient. The line was quite long when I arrived before a scheduled tour next door, but it moved quickly and I made it to my tour with no issues. Most importantly, my Brown Sugar Cardamom iced latte was one of the best I’ve had in a while!

A contemporary coffee shop that serves breakfast and lunch. You can eat inside or out. The barista will take an order and deliver it to your table. While there I had an everything bagel and an iced Caramello. The Cherry Street Coffee House is a convenient place to grab breakfast before exploring downtown Seattle.

OMG hot caramel apple cider is the only warm drink you need for the spooky season A chai tea mix with apple juice with a side of the most deliciously moist choc chip banana cake- perfect. 12/10 would recommend

Such a neat coffee house!

We were visitors of the city and this was close to our hotel. So glad we came upon it!

The building from the outside was cool and the inside/ambiance was lovely! Wouldn’t mind if we had to stay a little longer but we had a tour to catch

The service was average and the coffee and food were about the same. What made it stay out was the interior.

Great location, great atmosphere, great food.

I had a fantastic bagel sandwich. You’d have to go to NYC to get better. I also had a tea. A lot of times that’s a gamble because places tend to serve crappy tea, but my jasmine green tea was good.

The reason I can’t give this place 5 stars is the staff.

You can tell staff has their generation’s “I didn’t ask to be born” attitude. “It sucks that I have to be here at a job putting up with customers when someone should be paying me to hike, ski, or play video games all day.” …and they do give off that vibe. Very impatient with customers. They seem to have not sense of customer service, helpfulness, or patience.

If you can put up with the staff, then this place is great!

Also, I highly discourage tipping at this place (you are asked for a tip as you order). Not only for the reasons that I said above, but all they do is earn their $20ish an hour getting you drinks and making sandwiches. You order standing up and then wait at the counter (standing) for your stuff. Staff doesn’t help you select stuff off the menu when you say it’s your first time (they direct you to the menus by the door because it would bother them to help you decide or tell you what’s popular).

CHERRY STREET COFFEE HOUSE is a coffee shop that has truly inspired me. The ambiance is exceptional, a perfect blend of comfort and sophistication. The staff is warm, welcoming and exemplifies exceptional customer service. The coffee is outstanding, and the bread is freshly baked daily. Seattle boasts numerous excellent coffee shops, making it difficult to choose just one, but this shop has earned a special place in my heart. It’s another establishment that has left an indelible mark on me.
