Tamales are delicious….green chile chicken is a little too spicy for me but they taste great. My favorite was the red chili Pork was my favorite….wish I could find some bean tamales

My review this time is not that long as I only tried the tamales. I haven’t had ones in a long time so, found this place online and decide to give it a try.
The front of the business have some parking but the space is restricted, I didn’t check if there was more availability around the business, but my car was to close to the others, so I was a little stressful about get it scratched.
But because my order was a takeout it was really fast as normally tamales are already cooked and ready to serve. I had all the options they had, a dozen (three of each), the filing is good, but sadly they’re dry.
The only one that is good was the rajas con queso, but the rest were not a good experience.
I don’t know about the rest of the options in the menu, maybe I’ll try some of them other time and update this.

This place is really good and very authentic! The Chile relleno burrito was amazing, they give you two chiles making the size of the burrito very much worth the money! I would’ve given this place 5 stars except the tamales weren’t very fresh especially the red pork tamal. The green chicken and dulce tamal were very good just missing a little flavor. I still recommend this place and if you get anything else you will not be disappointed.

Chepe’s Tamales is hands down the best spot for authentic, homemade tamales! The food is absolutely delicious, especially their tamales, which are packed with flavor and have the perfect texture. Their caldo de res is another standout—rich, comforting, and just like home. On top of the amazing food, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. And the best part? The prices are super accessible, so you get top-quality food without breaking the bank. If you’re looking for a place with great food, great service, and great value, Chepe’s is the place to go!

Wow hidden behind a strange-shaped pizza hut you will find Chepes . Be careful if you drive too fast you’re going to pass it.
It is food that gets me in a sorta mood. To take a nappy nap. After a long day of ….dealing with the saauucccccce. I mean who hasn’t dealt with them. I pray you try this and are like damn that is a good burger. My wife is a vegetarian, pretty much makes me a vegetarian. But I do enjoy a good burger. I made this reveiw using a made up name so she will never know. Bois.

Go there before wrk and order me a burrito on those days I don’t pack myself food. The absolute best steak a la Mexicana burrito I ever had. Omg it’s so good. I really have not tried the other food there but if it’s anything like the burrito then you won’t be disappointed.

Tamales and Champurrado
The establishment itself looks ok. The gentleman who took my order was pleasant and polite. I went to wash my hands and there was no hand soap. I ordered tamales and a champurrado. The tamales (all 3 flavors, didn’t try the sweet)were ok as far as taste however they had more masa than meat which was disappointing. There was literally a strand of meat on the red and on the top they seemed to have made it look like it had plenty of meat. The chicken were the same and so were the rajas w/cheese. The champurrados consistency was good, flavor was ok but it had more cinnamon than chocolate, the cinnamon was a bit overpowering for me.

Good but not the best in town. Good prices but flavors not quite there. We got tamales, pastor tacos and Barbacoa burrito. You do get a good amount of food on each plate. Glad we tried it, but I’m not rushing to go back.
