I don’t usually write reviews. I’ve ordered from this restaurant consistently over time because the food WAS good. Today they served me rice that smelled very rancid like dirty moldy socks/shoes. If my family and I could smell the rice was bad (very strong smell) then that means they could smell the rice was bad, and still served it to their customer without any regards to anyone’s health. I’ve never been to a restaurant and had rice smell like that. I don’t want a refund, or to talk to the owner or to even be back. I find it extremely worrisome and disrespectful they don’t care about the quality of food they serve their customers. Sadly, it’s best to avoid this place.

As authentic Mexican as my step dad’s cooking and he’s from Mexico City. The steak is good quality not nasty rubber. It actually tastes Mexican not Americanized Mexican, they have Chipotle for that. The service was exceptional. You get guac, sour cream, and plenty of salsa Verde which all other Mexican places skimp on. I’ll definitely be coming back. Best Mexican in the area, and I tried all of them. Growing up with a Hispanic dad, I know AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD. Just like I know authentic Polish food as I’m polish.

Very kind staff, helped me pick a good meal and suggested great options. Location was very clean and has a good sized parking lot. The meal had a great taste it really made the long day vibes lift up. I will eat there again without a doubt even recommended it to my relatives

Ordered CATERING here. Two trays of meat which I was told was $148 for a catering tray and would feed about 30 to 40 people 2 tacos each. I asked if they were large metal trays, and the woman said yes. I called the day before my event to make sure it would be ready. When we got there it was not ready we had to wait 30 minutes for them to quickly make it.
Then they gave us WAY less meat than we discussed and what is displayed on their catering menu. The trays were HALF the size of a normal metal catering tray!!!!
We spent $450 for 1 bag of chips, two small salsas, tortillas, and 2 to-go boxes of lettuce, tomatoe, and onion. While we were waiting for our food and discussed the problem with them, the women would not negotiate or give us an explanation.
I really wanted to support this small business. I should have ordered from Sammy’s Mexican grill, and received twice the food for the same exact price!

Food here is not properly portioned I honestly feel ripped off. This is what they gave my 74 year old father smh no respect at all. I wouldn’t recommend coming here unless you want more tortilla and onion with your taco.

This is a small restaurant little away from downtown Bartlett. They had the tables distant from each other and were accommodating for a large party on a Saturday.
The food was very flavorless. We started with guacamole and it just seems mashed avocado with onions and tomato. There was no salt, pepper, or other spice. We ordered huevos rancheros and it was basically scrambled eggs with few sauces on the side. The veggie jumbo quesadillas was just melted cheese with some vegetables. Had to add a lot of salsa to get some taste. Chicken burrito came out very soggy as if it was sitting for a while. The service was very slow. Did not come to ask for our drinks order and at the end of the dinner they never came to ask for the dessert or the check.
I hate to give a local business low stars but sadly there is nothing that would make me go back there. Sorry.

I came here for lunch on a Friday. What a hidden gem! Staff was attentive and friendly — and they brought chips and salsas to the table (which hardly anyone does anymore). All of the salsas were delightful, but the pico de Gallo was the best I think I’ve ever had. The traditional steak tacos with onions and cilantro were perfect, served piping hot and bursting with flavor.
