The food is bad. Just a bunch of mush and sugar with soy sauce served cafeteria style. I’ve stepped into this place a couple times since I moved to the neighborhood in 2013. It’s consistent anyway. It’s not too expensive anyway, but still not worth it.

This is one of those hidden gems. Order off the menu not from the steam tray. Their use of vinegar is masterful. The food here is definitely the best Chinese food in the area

It appears to be one of those Chinese restaurants that have been around for a long while, and it has. I ate here previously a few years ago, and it was because of that experience that I decided to have another go. This experience turned out differently because I ordered something other than what I had intended. Because they had Sambal Oelek and soy sauce as condiments, I noticed they had an old favorite on the menu – BBQ Pork with egg over rice. Let’s just say that for me, this is a winning combination, and it worked well in this case. Although this dish is common, many places usually don’t have sambal oelek, or chili oil, which can liven up any plain dish. Otherwise, this place is a nice, small Chinese restaurant that serves good food.

Been coming here for years and the prices have definitely gone up too high for the portions and quality of the food you receive. Chicken fried rice used to be one of my favorites but it’s skimpy on the egg and veggies and chicken is in huge chunks that needs to be smaller and the same thing for the chow mein. I ordered fried prawns and OMG they were twice fried and was dry and horrible. Basically they didn’t sell them earlier and when I ordered them they fried them again EWWW!! I didn’t notice it till I got home. I’m gonna be looking for me a new Chinese food spot.

To begin with they have no soup for lunch only entrees and I ordered the tomato beef over rice it had about 35 tomatoes on it and it was straight up gross.

They have great Tso’s and had the best pork fried rice a year ago, this visit it had less flavor but whatever seed oil they use to fry has good character. I’ll be back, maybe it was just a bad batch. And it wasn’t bad, just lacking.

This is a place you come to for convenience and decent food. It’s not one you make a trip from crosstown to eat. The food is cheap and good. I live in the neighborhood and this is the place I go to when I have a craving for Chinese food and don’t want to travel far. I usually order the beef chow fun. They have a buffet style display for combination plates. There is seating for Dine-in as well. There isn’t much of an atmosphere. It’s your hole-in-the-wall kind of decor but it’s clean. Street parking is usually available.
There has been a change of ownership and the chef as well,l I assume as the beef chow fun is so much better. That’s all I’ve ordered so far.
