This place is almost perfect. The service was incredible everyone was friendly and very attentive. The Pu Pu Platter was delicious the beef teriyaki melted in your mouth. The barbecue spareribs had some fat but delicious. Spring rolls were good. Shrimp toast actually my first experience and I’m a fan now. Also the Crab Rangoon taste like Crab and yummy. House Lo Mein was the best I’ve had ever had. This all said from someone who’s had Chinese in many restaurants. This is my second favorite behind Wing Teh in Fort Erie Canada BUT not by much. The prices were incredibly reasonable and plenty of parking. I strongly recommend Chen’s Chinese restaurant.

This is THE spot in the Richmond area. We typically go the take-out route and it’s great, but do yourself a favor and dine in for a completely different culinary experience. Everything on the menu is fantastic and the service can’t be beat. Love this place.

This is a gem of a restaurant. Upon walking through the door we were greeted by a very friendly hostess that made us feel welcome. The hostess seated is immediately and took our drink orders. A few moments later, the manager of the place walked over just to say “hi” and all us how we were doing. Not long after that the waiter brought us some fried wonton chips and some sauces and took our drink orders. A few minutes later the waiter brought our drinks and took our food orders.
A few moments after our food arrived the manager walked over and asked us how our dinner was and if we needed anything else. Everything was fresh and tasty. I had the triple delight, and my wife had shrimp fried rice. We both agreed that the portions were more than generous for the price which was more than reasonable.
The restaurant was very clean with a nice, comfortable atmosphere. We will definitely come back and will recommend this place to our friends and family.

I came here like a week ago to get some food it was absolutely disgusting my shrimp lo mein seemed like it was cooked to long the shrimp was also breaded which is confusing because nobody does that. I also got spring rolls and they tasted like they were dropped on the floor or found behind the refrigerator and then cooked and then served to me. Reason for the atmosphere rating being low is because after we ordered our food the girl at the counter started talking in her native language to another and then they both proceeded to turn and look at me but I was looking back so they avoided eye contact the remaining time I was there. That is very unprofessional and I will not be coming back here.

Absolutely phenomenal! I usually order sesame chicken but did not see it on the menu and when asked what would be comparable, the gentleman said, “We can make that for you.” It was the best sesame chicken I’ve ever had! The egg roll was amazing and my husband had the spring roll and said it was excellent. Everything was fresh and piping hot and the service was friendly and efficient. We live an hour and a half away and was in the area for a doctor appointment and decided to give it a try. So glad we did! Will definitely be back!

My family and I recently moved to Virginia from Massachusetts and we have been searching for our go-to Chinese restaurant. I think we finally found it at Chen’s! We ordered the sesame chicken, pork fried rice, crab rangoons, and fried pork dumplings. It was so tasty! Everyone (guests and staff) seemed very happy to be there. And when I arrived to pick up my order, the proprietor/manager asked if my 5-yo could have a lollipop. Very charming and family friendly! We will definitely be coming back!

I am AMAZED at how good the food is. So much I’m writing review before finishing my meal. I called in takeout and a man named Benny answered. I didn’t know what to get so he talked me through options, ultimately recommending Szechuan Beef (I substituted normal veggies for onion). He said to trust him, so I did, and he was right because this is the best Chinese food I’ve ever eaten in all my travels throughout America. I trusted him, so you can now trust me.
