I’m not a foodie, just a regular guy who gets out to eat every now and then. Came to Chens when my parents visited and brought the family 4 adults and 4 kids middle school through highschool ages. Service was great, very friendly, helpful with all the questions about different meals. The soup was tasty to start, our meals came very quickly and everyone enjoyed their meals. We did have some left overs with a few people in the group because the portions were good sized, but they were eaten that same eaving at home. It’s rare to get a group of 8 with 4 teenagers and 2 generations of adults where not a single person had a complaint or didn’t eat their meal. Staff was great, food was great, it wasn’t real busy, maybe 4 parties in there, but the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming and comfortable. I don’t know how they weren’t full with the great food and service. We’re definitely going to be making this one if general staples. So many options to try!

We usually LOVE this food, but today we walked in and ordered and the lady in the front was wearing blue gloves but started sneezing everywhere. After she took our order another customer came in and she started sneezing some more than grabbed tissue picked her nose with it then told the guy to hold on and walked to the back where our food is CURRENTLY being made and starts SNEEZING MORE all by the food!! ‍♀️ ‍♀️ ‍♀️
She should be wearing a damn mask but of course is not!! ‍ ‍ ‍

They are so nice here. The food is always on point. Definitely the best Chinese food in the area. My go to is the General Tso’s chicken, sweet and sour pork, and the crab angel puffs. The meals are big enough they last for 2-3 meals.

Delicious. This was a last minute lunch stop and I wasn’t disappointed. The General Tso’s Chicken was great and I would not hesitate to stop back. All the staff were super friendly too.

Food is average. Horrible, powerful smell of sewer as soon as you walk in. Bathrooms are both dirty. Trashes are full. Dining room window sills are FILTHY. A layer of gunk on the sill and blinds. Normally would have left immediately but we wanted to try the food. Won’t be back.

Flavorless Chinese American food. This is your typical Arizonian Chinese American food made for White people or for people suffering from Diabetes or High Blood Pressure. The fried rice has no flavor, the General Tso’s chicken is made with flavorless chicken breast and the breading outside of it is your typical Arizona greasy soggy flavorless breading used on Sweet and Sour Chicken and on everything else that’s fried. And the prices are so high. Not worth it. I’m not sure who is giving this place high reviews, but they need to start traveling more often.

A Peaceful Oasis of Culinary Bliss:

Stepping into Chen’s Chinese Bistro is like finding a quiet, peaceful oasis in the middle of a busy day. The moment you walk through the door, the atmosphere is just so serene and calming. It’s elegantly decorated, with soft lighting and beautiful accents that make you feel instantly at ease. It’s the perfect setting for a quiet dinner and truly a place where you can relax and savor your meal.

And oh, what a meal it is. My journey into culinary happiness began with the egg flour soup (or as they call it, Egg Flower Soup). I’ve had this dish at countless restaurants, but Chen’s version… it’s in a league of its own. With the first spoonful, my mouth quite literally exploded with happiness. The broth is a velvety, savory masterpiece, and the delicate ribbons of egg are perfectly cooked. It’s a simple dish done with an extraordinary level of care and flavor.

The rest of our meal was just as incredible, proving that their commitment to authentic, high-quality food is no fluke. The Mongolian Beef and Twice-Cooked Pork were both flawlessly executed, bursting with deep, rich flavors that are simply unmatched.

The service is exceptional, and the entire experience feels personal and special. If you’re looking for an authentic Chinese meal served in a wonderfully peaceful setting, Chen’s is the only place to go. The amazing atmosphere and that life-changing egg flour soup make it a solid five stars.

It was my first time here and we ordered the Family Dinner For 2 with Mongolian Beef, Kung Pao Chicken, Wonton Soup, and Chicken Lo Main. We spent a little under $50, and I would order all of these again except for the Wonton soup, it just wasn’t for me. The staff were friendly. I would eat here again.

3 times in a row now. I order crab rangoon ($9.99) and they over cook them and there’s nothing left inside. I asked for new ones that aren’t dark brown and they just tik them back and said no. I’m glad I checked this time before I paid. Their other location is delicious but 40 minutes away. This was my last time. Very disappointing
