Usually love this place and is my go to, decided to try chow mein for the first time and got something that looked nothing like the pictures from other reviews and online, more like baby food.

I recently relocated to Suffield from Rhode Island and am an avid enthusiast of Chinese cuisine. After conducting extensive research on the local dining scene, I decided to visit this establishment despite initial reservations. To my surprise, the flavors were exceptional, the portions were generous, and the prices were remarkably affordable. This experience challenged my preconceived notions about the cost of quality Chinese food. I highly recommend trying their dishes.

Not impressed at all.
Ordered Qt of Chow mein and received a plate like container, certainly not a Qt.
The egg Foo young was bland.
Crab racoons were over cooked and most were burnt.
Definitely won’t be returning and most definitely will be telling family and friends to stay clear..

It’s decent. Food is average. There’s better Chinese food, but not in Suffield. Service is hilariously unfriendly, but I don’t think anyone orders takeout to make friends.

The outside is strip mall with no window lighting.. The inside atmosphere is also very plain. This might be because they only do pick up. The food was ready fast and waiting for me at the window area. The food was good.

Kind of “blah” all the way around.
The food and service weren’t terrible, but they also weren’t overly memorable. The only thing that really stood out about the meal, was the crab rangoon looked (and tasted) like they came from the frozen food isle.
We may go back… but probably not.

PLEASE step up customer service & food quality.
I’ve been going (and my family) to this place since the previous owners. Years & years. I’d say this Chinese is Eh, just ok. I’ve recently tried Chinese just over the Enfield/Suffield bridge & another place in Enfield & sadly it was loads better than here. I’d much rather stay close & in town so I am kinda forced to buy from here. If you can drive over bridge I would recommend that. This place is kinda expensive & I’d rather spend my money on quality & drive a little ways. Really wish the owners would just step it up a bit. Customer service could also be improved. It wasn’t until I ran into owner at Dunkin Donuts that they finialy warmed up to my family. Try another Chinese place & then try this place & you’ll understand my 2 star rating.

We’ve been looking for a good Chinese Food Restaurant in the area. Decided to give Cheng’s a try. Ordered online (easy). Food was hot and tasty and cooked well. We will go back.
