Came here for a birthday dinner with a friend. Everything I ate was delicious, flavorful, not too salty. Even the cucumbers and garlic seemed like it might be basic but it was full of garlic flavor unlike you’ll ever expect. The braised beef noodle soup was a favorite and the xialong boa was served perfectly hot to where the soup filling didn’t burn your mouth. They were also the perfect size to pop right in your mouth whole and enjoy. The noodles you got to pick and they were clearly made in house and were delicious. I highly recommend trying dessert if you’ve never had it, they are more traditional and some of my favorites. Extremely delicious.

The setting is actually quite cozy and styled to be slightly upscale. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere felt calm. I had a lovely time and the food was comforting and nostalgic for me. I will definitely be back.

A cozy spot focused on Sichuan noodles and dumplings. The Zhong wontons were nicely spiced and enjoyable, but the lamb and dill dumplings were a bit underwhelming – the filling felt more like a meatball than the textured meat-and-veg mix in typical dumplings. The noodles were the clear stars: both the Yibin flaming noodles and spicy beef noodles were super flavorful with satisfyingly chewy texture. Overall a solid and comforting Sichuan spot, especially if you’re in the mood for noodles.

The Dan Dan noodles are my favorite in the city! The pork is nice and salty and the chili oil added adds the perfect spice. The spicy cucumber salad add is loaded with flavors and adds the perfect crunch to your meal. The seshuan broiled beef is the best.

I was curious about this place as it’s always busy! It was an easy walk to get to and got a seat right away without a reservation. They have a decent menu of classics and new things to try. It was a little tricky to identify how some of the things were prepared. I got a pork dumpling that had a harder piece of meat in it that surprised me to be honest, but otherwise the flavor was good. The other pork buns were spicy but flavorful and good. I tried the pear drink and it was also tasty and refreshing! The server was very nice and made it easy to take our order. It’s super loud in the restaurant and hard to talk if you’re dining with others.

Incredibly good Sichuan cuisine. Authentic yet modern and very very well made. Best crab rangoons I ever had. Get the dan dan noodles and the wontons.

Run don’t walk, the dumplings are so good. I had the pork xiao long bao and I wish I had ordered 3 orders of them. The beef and scallion pan fried awesome as well. Sichuan pork bao was good. Sichuan is not really my cup of tea so I wasn’t surprised to not be as excited about those. I will be back to Chengdu Bistro!!

Love their dishes, flavor is authentic and serving size is perfect.

Zhong dumplings, Yibin flaming noodles, sichuan beef and chicken are very good. The string beans are great and crispy too.

Dessert wise, mochi is nice. The sticky rice one wasn’t very authentic, almost too greasy.

Highly recommended!

Deliciously chewy noodles with a variety of flavorful broth’s. I order the Clear Broth Ground Noodle Soup with a side of their housemade numbing spice, and is was delectable!

They have multiple gluten-free menu items that are clearly labeled and delicious! I was pleasantly surprised that the dry-rub chille chicken was GF. I always enjoy the Szechuan green beans. They are super fresh! The vegetarians, gluten-intolerant, gluten tolerant, and meat eaters in our group were all happy with the selection and with our piping hot dishes. Great variety of tasty hot teas and a cozy, clean atmosphere – can’t be beat for flavorful and wholesome Chinese food!

I got the spicy beef noodle soup which wasn’t too spicy but was delicious and the rose herbal tea. I got another noodle dish previously both were incredibly delicious and served so fast!!
