The food was okay. I was going to order the eggdrop soup, but they charge $3.00 for the wontons to put in the soup. That is way too much, so I didn’t get the soup.

Food came out piping hot! Took it home and it was still steaming by the time we ate. Also, the packaging was very fool proof, everything double wrapped. They put so much food it was bulging from the box.
Orange chicken was crunchy and candied, the way I like it. Lo mein was delicious as well. Husband said his sesame chicken was great too. We would go back!

We enjoyed our first visit to Chen Wok. Everything was great. Service was engaging, food was served piping hot, and the restaurant is simple and very clean! I had chicken lo mein and my husband had broccoli beef. We also had soup, Egg Flower and Hot and Sour. We are so excited to finally find a super yummy Chinese restaurant. We’ll be back!!

It was just alright. The best part of the meal was the egg roll and crab puffs. The fried rice was simplistic and had pretty good flavor. I wish there had been egg and veggies. The orange chicken was light and decently crispy. The Mongolian beef was very disappointing. Not much flavor at all for a dish that should pack a punch.

Me and my family have come here for years. The food has always been great. There has never been a single time the order was wrong or late. The quality and quantity of the food has always been consistent. I have not found a better Chinese restaurant.

This was my first time trying Chen Wok and I gotta say this place is exceptional!!!
I ordered two beef fried rice with extra beef and a large sesame chicken the meat was so fresh!!! Well worth the 60 bucks!!!
Oh and it was delivered on time! Definitely gunna order from here again!

Been going here since 2009 with my family and their style of cooking is definitely better than a lot of Chinese restaurants in the West valley. Sweet and sour shrimp, orange chicken, house fried rice, and shrimp fried rice are our favorites. I’ve even had the mu shu shrimp and it’s been a few years but they would actually serve them with thin crepes not flour tortillas like the other Chinese restaurants in the Surprise area. I’ve read some reviews saying that the rice looks burnt or almost black or it’s so dark lol Well that’s a preference and again, a style of cooking. Relax , it’s called DARK soy sauce . Chinese cooking uses both dark and light soy. But if it tasted burnt then my apologies, I have had burnt fried rice elsewhere ; in Peoria and the color was lighter brown; it tasted horrible.
I moved out to the East valley for a few years and recently moved back so I’ll have to visit and write an update. Owners were always nice and even gave us free veggie spring rolls when we ordered for pick up. Employees were always welcoming 🙂

Overall the taste was amazing but the sesame chicken had small pieces with way too much breading. Again I tore it up because its flavor was great.
