Stopped in for a quick lunch. The place is always clean and the staff super friendly. They have a bunch of regulars at the tables near us. We got the SPECIALS- RIBS & CHICKEN WINGS- the ribs fell off the bones. Full of meat and great season and flavor will definitely get them again. The chicken wings were super crispy and meaty! The spice in the sauce was awesome. They were juicy not dry. Will get these again as well. Chicken Pad Thai cooked perfectly and a huge portion. The other special was the Seafood Crispy Noodle. It has shrimp, calamari, scallops and vegetables. We asked for no bell pepper and she added mushrooms and broccoli instead. Very accommodating. The dish was great. Crispy noodles were different as I am accustomed to rice but still very well worth it. Will be back soon!!!! Hidden gems for sure .

Stumbled upon Chen Garden in my hunt for wonton soup. No wait time, clean, one attentive lady taking care of everyone. The food came out fast and it was delicious. I left full with leftovers and I just finished them. We will be back,

This unassuming Asian fusion restaurant in a small shopping center located right on Luke Julian in South Asheville is one of our best kept secrets !

Upon entering, you feel relaxed , the lights are ambient artistic without being over the top just perfect ! Services is immaculate. You’ll be taking care of well here 🙂

the bar is nicely stocked. There’s a large blown up picture Hong Kong city scape , you get the real feeling you’re there .

Featuring a blend of Japanese and Chinese flavors with even Thai influence you can’t go wrong!!
All the old classic dishes are prepared with perfect execution, and for a good price point

Most of all and like I like the fresh ingredients! I’m a chef by trade as well. I lived in the Bay Area for years. The food here is on point.!!!!!

Ingredients are everything.!

Went here on Christmas Eve, it was busy, but it wasn’t packed. Love the food and love the staff. Appreciated the interior decor, very festive, inviting and would totally come back again.

The positive – our to-go order was ready fast and it was accurate. The beef Pho was ok. The negative – I ordered the Pad See Ew, it tasted like nothing. No flavor! I mean none. Same with the Sesame Chicken. The Pad Thai was spicy sweet in a strange way, like Sugar Sriracha. The fried spring rolls had to be pre-frozen and also had zero flavor. For zero flavor and $100, this was extremely disappointing.

We lucked into a table at this lovely little Chinese restaurant after a flight into Asheville on Christmas Day. Even though the place was packed, the family that runs Chen Garden was gracious and efficient.

We were seated and eating much faster than we anticipated. The service was great, and the food delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Although we ate here because we had limited options on Christmas Day, we would all return on any other day of the year to enjoy another succulent Chinese meal.

We tried this place for the first time today. All four of us enjoyed our meals. My husband and I had General Tso’s chicken which we both agreed was amazing. My dad had the roasted duck which was savory and flavorful. We also had the calamari and Pork gyosa and both were amazing and addictive. We feel the prices are fair for what you are getting and the staff are very friendly! We will definitely be back soon.

Stopped here passing through on family vacation. All of the food was excellent! Had something for everyone even for my super picky 9 year old. The place was fresh and clean and staff was super friendly and patient. I appreciated that they had a lunch menu on Saturday also. Thank you for an amazing experience!

Our 1st time there and we will be back! The food, presentation and service was wonderful! I had the pineapple curry & my husband Mongolian beef. Both of us were amazed at the tenderness of both our meats and the freshness of everything. They even had a sake that I found once at a speciality shop & have been looking for ever since. It may be in a shopping plaza and fairly small but they have done a nice job of making it very attractive and were playing nice music.
