I really love Chen Express, especially for their delivery. We’re extremely wary of most other delivery places or delivery services, but never have any issue whatsoever with Chen. The food is packaged extremely well and it always arrives hot. The actual delivery is always extremely polite, respectful, and surprisingly fast. Finally, a place in the south that knows how to do Midwest Style “Springfield Cashew Chicken” No one down here has understood what it is or how to do it. The folks at Chen understood the request and delivered.

Chen Express Mt. Brook is the best Chinese food in the Birmingham area. My wife and I (plus other family) has been coming here for over 15 years and it’s always been so delicious. We have tried several entrees but our favorite has been and still is the sesame chicken, she orders the regular and I get the hot and spicy. Sooooo good .

The only good thing I can say is the delivery was fast. I ordered chicken and broccoli…. The chicken was not good and the egg rolls were not fresh. I called for a refund and they would not give a refund without having the food returned so I invited them to send a driver to pick it up. It used to be so good!
