Absolutely adored this restaurant with plenty of different kinds of seating including an events area and private dining area! Oysters are so super fresh and beautifully presented!! Cocktails are on point. And their clam chowder is gluten free!! They do offer gluten free options on bread that comes with dishes! Wish their crab cakes were gluten free as well but you can’t ask the whole world to be gluten free . Will deff come back for great oysters and clam chowder. I would deff try a steak from here as well as all the food looked good and tasted amazing. Great job everyone ☺️☺️ also there is a gelato shop attached to them so you can get gelato right after with great flavors and homemade coziness! Offered a dairy free selection as well that was the bees knees! I would celebrate any occasion here and if I worked at an office this is where I would want our party to be ☺️☺️

Lovely people serving up some of the finest fare from the sea. Chowder was beyond expectations with clams still in their shells!! Sat at the Raw bar and after serving us our delicious oyster plate, Jessie introduced us to Olympia Oysters. Native to the local waters, these little champs blew away the flavour of our previous selection of 4 oyster varietals. Along with being able to buy the knives they use and a tutorial on west cost shucking, we ended up getting 6 of the Olympia Oysters… best desert choice I’ve made in a long time!!!

Flew in from Hawaii at 5:30am and sat down for Happy Hour by 3pm for one of the most luscious seafood meal! Fresh oysters, clam soup with cubed “lechon” (pork belly), truly the best, and plump prepped scallops!! Our server once lived in Kailua; a very tall, calm, attentively gracious person. Most impressive too was the staff; entire team worked seamlessly to ensure every table was served in a timely warm manner. A must stop in Olympia !!

This is probably the fifth time I’ve been to Chelsea so I was surprised I’d never written a review. One of our good friends loves raw oysters and this is always her pick and she’s says the oysters are excellent! I’ve had the shrimp and grits before – delicious but a little rich for me. Today I had crab mixture on toast with a side salad. Serving was ample and tasty, though the salad was a little wilted for my taste. Coffee is strong here and a bit acidic – I think it’s the local blend. Beautiful and open atmosphere with lovely ceiling fixtures. There is a bar area too that feels a bit more private. Despite another persons review I’ve always had excellent service here A especially from a younger tall sister whose name I should have learned – thank you! If you want a little upscale, Chelsea is a lovely choice!

Best clam chowder I have ever had.
I have lived in the northwest for 25 years and this restaurant offers the best clam chowder I have ever had. Clams in the shell are all firm and fresh, pork cubes are tender and juicy, chowder is well seasoned. The clam and pork portion is very generous. I will definitely come back again for its clam chowder.
We ordered oysters and it’s excellent too. Very fresh and sweet.
Service is excellent. Our waiter is knowledgeable about the clams and oysters from restaurants own farm. He’s also very attentive. When he noticed our oysters with sake flight was late, he kept checking kitchen and gave us status update. Appreciate it. That’s a good service I am willing to pay extra tips.

I used to love coming here but over the last year or so the portions have gotten out of hand. While I understand almost everything has gone up in cost, having these fries be the same price makes absolutely no sense (Nov 2025 $7 vs Feb 2022). It’s almost insulting. I also ordered the lobster bisque tonight (last picture). It was so good! But it was $20 for maybe 8 oz of bisque and a couple pieces of lobster. It’s sadly not worth it anymore.

really good! kinda expensive, but that’s to he expected for seafood. I got the lobster Mac and cheese, my friend got the lobster bisque. we also got the chelsea gem oysters, and garlic bread. oysters weren’t my thing. we both enjoyed our food though!
