Today afternoon we visited Chelo Persian Mediterranean in North Roswell. We ordered Mirza Ghasemi, Grilled Prawns, Chicken Bargeh, and Chicken Kebab. For the sides, we had Saffron Rice, Polo, and Adas Polo.
The Chicken Kebab was good and nicely cooked. However, the rest of the dishes were unfortunately just average. The Mirza Ghasemi felt dry and lacked freshness and flavor. The grilled prawns were disappointing as well only two prawns were served for $16, and they were not very flavorful. The red sauce served with the prawns was also quite dry and didn’t add much taste. Even the pita bread seemed dry.
Overall, it’s an okay place, but based on my previous experiences at other Persian and Middle Eastern restaurants, this one did not stand out. I expected better quality and flavor.

We had reservations for 2 on a Saturday night at 6pm. Parking was easy due to valet. We were seated immediately in a 2-seater table. I believe booths are for parties of 4. The food and service were excellent. Looking forward to going back to try other items on the menu. Took one star off atmosphere as the tables were super close together. It felt congested.

Chelo!!!! I am in love!!!! The beautiful dining room would have most likely had me coming back for a drink at a minimum…..Then I experienced the service and the food. I will be a regular. From the valet greeting us and being so kind and helpful, to the hostess, server, runners, bar staff….wow!!!!! It is very hard to go to a restaurant and find great staff everywhere you turn. Here you do! If you read any of my reviews….I am usually pretty detailed about my service experience. I think it makes or breaks the experience. Let’s face it, dining out is expensive…..we have a choice where we spend our entertainment dollars. Chose Chelo! They will wow you! The food was also 5 stars. We dined on the falafel and cauliflower appetizers – both outstanding. I had the chicken kabab with saffron rice. Very very good as well. The rice will be in my thoughts for a while….so good! Thank you for a wonderful evening, looking forward to our next visit!

Great service matched with excellent food in a moody yet inviting atmosphere made for a top tier for a dinner with friends. I had the Chenjeh with Shirin Polo; the beef was incredibly flavorful and cooked well, and the green sauce it comes with is great with the meat and rice. Will absolutely be back.

My wife wanted to try some place new and my wife’s friend recommended this place.
We booked a reservation and when we walked in we were the only people inside. I was very worried at first but when the appetizers came out, all my fears went away. Everything we had was AMAZING..!! I had Persian food before but nothing this good. Our waitress was very nice but could had done better checking on us throughout our meal. I had to get her attention twice to request a refill of soda. Other than that, the decor inside is different but sets the moods.
Parking is a HUGE pain which there is COMPLIMENTARY Valet parking. I highly recommend doing this verse trying to find parking on your own.
We will definitely be back and I plan on bringing my entire family here as well.

Went there for early lunch for my boyfriend’s birthday. In love with the atmosphere and interior decoration. Price is very reasonable for food. I have had Persian food from other places, here’s another one that I would recommend. They complement us with baklava for birthday and also we ordered ice cream, they were sooo good. I love this place.
