Best Mexican food I’ve had in Missouri so far.
As someone who lived in San Diego & has the privilege of enjoying homemade Mexican food I was pleasantly surprised to find such good Mexican food in Missouri and think about my meal often.
We came for an early dinner before an event. We had the shrimp fajitas, a carne sope, and a special of carnitas enchiladas. Our waitress was quick and efficient with getting the items we needed.
The food was good portion sized and the flavors were AMAZING! Whatever the sauce is they put on their fajitas sets them apart from regular fajitas. The special of the day with the carnitas was absolutely a 10/10, I would eat it once a week if I could. Everything was fresh & flavorful, well seasoned, and the salsa had a good kick. Will absolutely be back

We got lunch catered for work. 1 beef and 1 chicken taco. With beans and rice and chips and salsa. Everything was very bland. Portions are small. Shells had a weird texture. I just crumbled the tacos to try to make nachos. Salsa was very watery. Maybe I will go into the actual restaurant to try some things.

The food was amazing, I loved my dish. The salsa wasn’t spicy, which I loved. The ambiance was nice, and the wall paintings were a nice touch. The only issue was that the waiters were scarce. I asked for queso Blanco, and he said he’d get it but never did, and he didn’t even put it on our ticket, so I guess he never intended to get it. Other than that I do not recommend coming during dinner rush lol lunch is a safer bet for parking

Some of the best TexMex style Mexican food in South Kansas City! Very friendly staff and a gem of an owner that personally works the floor to make sure all her guests are happy. Some traditional Mexican, Jalisco to be more precise, are on the menu too. Bring you appetite!

We were sat at table number 13 and while we were sitting and waiting on our food I had noticed our waitress wiped her nose several different times and did not ever wash her hands.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in KCMO. My husband and I dine in frequently and it has never missed. Their margaritas are well priced and poured strong, and the food is always so fresh and so well prepared. Everything is always fast and the service is friendly too!

Good Mexican food. I wouldn’t say it is the best I had, but it is good, prices are good. They have a Michelada with dark beer, amazing. My kids loved the tacos. I didn’t give 5 stars in the atmosphere because I am sure they can do much better at using the available spare space they have for a waiting space where one can at least seat while waiting for a table.
