My wife and I came here for breakfast with our 10 year old daughter. The décor has a classic old school diner feel, similar to something you would see off Route 66. The entire restaurant, including the bathrooms, was open, bright, and very clean.
In the morning, the servers let you sit anywhere you would like. There are plenty of booths by the windows that surround the restaurant, which adds to the comfortable diner atmosphere.
We ordered the Alex Burrito and the Cheliz Omelette. The burrito came with three breakfast meats. The omelette also included ham, bacon, and sausage, along with two cheeses, green peppers, and mushrooms. The food was delicious and came out fast.
The servers were nice, friendly, and pleasant throughout our visit. It was getting pretty busy by the time we finished, which is usually a good sign. This is definitely a breakfast spot in our area that deserves support, and we will be back.

Nice little diner in downtown San Bernardino. Glad I came across this gem because it’s definitely worth the visit. The Chiliquilas were amazing. The portions were generous and service was prompt and friendly. Our waitress kept the coffee coming with a smile. I will be telling my friends and family about Cheliz.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the waitress and invited to sit anywhere I liked. The restaurant has a welcoming setup with plenty of counter space, booths, and tables to choose from. I ordered the ribeye steak with scrambled eggs (topped with cheese), and their homemade country potatoes — everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The fresh, homemade biscuits with gravy were a standout! You can really taste the care and quality in every bite. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I was very excited to visit this place, I was visiting family and i was told this was a good place so a friend an i decided to go. Our waitress was Daniela she was acting weird toward our needs and when i went to the restroom i overheard her telling another waitress that we didnt look like we tipped, and thats why she wasnt putting effort. First of all if you dont out effort into it of course im not going to tip you. When she saw me she stayed quiet because she knew. It seems like these girls gossip more than they work. I did like the food tho, too bad the service wasnt great. Maybe they should realize that the place is pretty small and anyone can hear the gossip between them. Horrible waitress and no i didnt tip her.

Very very old timey experiance. Its got that 90s 2000s classic feel and we went here for breakfest. My skillet had a huge cheese pull factor and my wife’s quesidilla was so rich it was insane! Good food and relaxing environment.
