I just need to start out by saying, I felt as if I walked into a place of family. They treated us so great and the service was so great that I wanted to stay for the next meal. The food was so good and warm with how they made it with the care of wanting it to be good. I got the breakfast enchiladas and they were incredible that it made me feel as if I walked into a Mexican kitchen and made it from scratch. The staff was so incredible that they really did make us feel like family. I recommend trying out Chelinos because you will leave like you are leaving a family member being well feed.

Chellino’s didn’t disappoint! Great cheese enchiladas with their special meat sauce. Fresh tortillas with different salsas and cheese sauce was a fine addition. Also came with complimentary sopapillas and honey.

By far, one of the best Authentic Mexican Restaurants in the city! You get complimentary flour tortillas and questions with your chips and salsa. The food is awesome and the wait time for your food is very minimal. I would recommend you try it!

The food was good but disappointing. I ordered the beef fajita and it was mostly onions. There was very little meat. I definitely won’t be ordering that again because it was expensive for what I actually received.
**UPDATE- Went here with a couple of friends and I have to say I DID NOT ORDER THE FAJITAS! I ordered something else. It was pretty good. Was hoping it would have been spicier but I understand why it wasn’t. Not everyone can handle the heat .

It is hard for me to find a shrimp cocktail like the ones I ate back at home in LA. This one is the closest one so far. It was so delicious and full of flavor. Good amount of shrimp. The service we received was great!

The food was GREAT!! Our waitress had a bad attitude! My boyfriend and NaNa let them know it was birthday and they were rude and tried to charge $20 to sing! I was appalled. I wont be returning due to that.

I ordered online. I tried to allow plenty of time for them to prepare it. 30 minutes. I called at curbside, They didn’t answer the phone. I hang up and call back a few minutes later. She tells me my order isn’t ready. I told her it’s been over 30 minutes. She put me on hold, asked my name and then said ok I prepare it. Last time I was here they wouldn’t even do curbside, even though it’s on their order options. Plus some lady was passed out in the parking lot. Anyway, we ordered extra sides that we didn’t get. I called and the manager just wanted to argue. Not only did they miss the sides, the chimichanga was really hard on the bottom, the relish was all onions, the chips were the size of a 12 oz water bottle and no Pico or anything came with the fajitas. I have used Chelinos for years but I will never order from there again.

I had the El Gordo, it’s as much food as it sounds like and it’s all delicious. The Thunder margarita was the perfect jumping off point to the evening. The habanero hot sauce was so hot I had to ease up for once. That’s how it should be. We had Asada fries and tamales too, I would go back for just the fries and margaritas alone they were awesome. A mariachi band started playing and that’s just as authentic as it gets. (Except for taking a beating with a chancla)
