We love Chelatchie Crossing, and I wish I could give 5 stars but the service isn’t consistent. If Aaron is our server, it’s fantastic. He is truly a gem. If anyone else is our server, it’s hit or miss. The food is awesome and reasonably priced for smoked BBQ. Their summer time events/activities are super fun as well.

I ate there on a Thursday evening, not peak times by any means. I ordered a beef brisket and smoked chicken plate with beans and mashed potatoes and a canned soda. Food took about 20 minutes. The chicken was excellent. The brisket was tough with lots of non rendered fat and a slight bitter taste. The mashed potatoes were liberally laced with what tasted like dill or possibly really strong rosemary. I would eat the chicken again.

The place is very difficult to find in the dark, and there is almost no lighting outside. Inside it was very cold. The decor was a nice rustic feel with a large fireplace that probably should have been going. The servers were nice and friendly. The bar appeared very well stocked. There were no specials available, and most of the sides were potato products. If you don’t like coleslaw your only option other than potatoes is beans.

Would benefit from offering cornbread as a side, as well as macaroni or potato salad, etc.

There are better BBQ offerings in the general area, but could be a good warm weather date spot or something new to try. The prices were quite high for the quality of the food. Portions weren’t bad size.

Had brunch there today. Wonderful. Handmade bloody Mary. Extremely fresh ingredients. Chocolate Stout to go with my coffee. We had pulled pork scramble and chile omelette. All marvelous

If you’re looking for a quiet, non busy place for Sunday brunch, come here.

With a good variety of omelets, scrambles, and more, beat the hoards of people going to weekend breakfast by heading to the golf course.

This place is a hidden gem! A bit hard to find in the dark but definitely worth it. Delicious bbq! Try the smoked onion dip and the potato salad.

The food was amazing but the staff was really unorganized and slow. Our waiter was working really hard but was overwhelmed while others stood around doing nothing.
