What a cute cafe! I ordered the grilled pork banh mi, Bao buns, a couple of drinks and they had the mango shaped Popsicle available (Propitious Mango Ice Cream). Everything was delicious! Great service, food was fresh and made to order.

We ordered Beef Pho with flank (no cilantro), a grilled pork Banh Mi (no cilantro), and Banh Bao. Unfortunately, the service was confusing. Our server brought our food out in a to-go bag, explaining they had “made a mistake” and wrapped it for travel—rather than simply plating it for us to eat in the restaurant.
To make matters worse, my pho was full of cilantro. When I pointed it out, the server actually questioned if I was sure it wasn’t just green onions. I know the difference, especially since I can’t eat it! While he apologized and offered a 15% discount, he never offered to replace the soup, so I didn’t get to eat my meal. The Banh Mi and Banh Bao were tasty, though $3.99 for one Banh Bao felt steep. Between the service and the order errors, I’m not sure I’ll be back.

The service:
The gentleman working the front of the house was quick to greet us and politely got us seated. He was very attentive even as he had other guests come dine in.
The food:
We ordered two pho dac biet, egg rolls, Saigon chilled coffee, and the coconut cream breeze coffee.
The pho broth was OK. I didn’t get a hint of any of the aromats though. It was just salty. The texture of the pho noodles were a bit too mushy for my liking and the portion size just didn’t match the price of it. I definitely have had better pho with richer broth. I should have tried a different dish instead.
The rest of the food and the drinks were great.
The atmosphere:
This place is well decorated and inviting. The restrooms were clean.

Hands down some of the best pho I’ve had! The broth is rich and full of flavor, the noodles are cooked perfectly, and all the toppings taste super fresh. The service was quick and the atmosphere is cozy. If you love pho, you have to try this place!

What a treat!!! They have Pho and Bahn Mi sandwiches with Bao Buns and amazing desserts. Coffee is next level and puts Starbucks to shame! Next spot to get some dope food and next level coffee and desserts!
Pho is a must try it’s a delicious beef soup with noodles and a light broth. You can dress it how you like with mint, jalapeños, sprouts, sweet sauce, and hot sauce. Best Pho I have had in a looong time!

Soooooo excited to have Vietnamese Coffee in Maryville now!!! It tasted authentic to the real thing in Vietnam, and the service was so friendly. 10/10 recommend!! I recommend the egg coffee, next time I’ll try the coconut coffee, one of my faves from Vietnam.

If you are looking for delicious Pho in Maryville, then look no further than Cheidee Cafe & Bakery. There’s no wrong way to mix your ingredients, and it is the perfect soup to enjoy with family, friends, or a significant other, year round. You like it spicy? They’ve got you. Sweet? You’re covered there too. It’s rare that a noodle soup can be so light with fresh ingredients, but it’s also rare for the same soup to be so filling and different from most restaraunts in the area. If you’re like me, winter time sends me straight into soup mode, and it’s the perfect break from your fourth helping of ham or turkey. It has bite from the sriracha, lime, and mint, and sweet and savory notes from the hoisin sauce, cinammon, and star anise. I love the chicken as a protein, but I’m looking forward to the flank steak Pho. If you wanna bring in the new year with something exotic and flavorful, I can’t suggest this place enough.
