We had a party of 10+ people and they were able to seat us right away. We ordered many dishes and once the food came, it kept rolling in. Service is very good and the food is really good too. We had lobster, fish, tofu, roast duck, chicken feet, several meat with veggie dishes, soup, and more.

The parking lot to the side of the restaurant is limited considering how large this restaurant is. It can seat a lot.

We planned a get together with 35 people. More people showed up than expected. -40 Our contact had pre-negotiated a flat rate (tax & tip included) for a fixed menu. Everyone paid cash on the spot. Service was okay. Apparently they needed to swap out one item for another. The food was fresh and tasty. I tried things I’d never tried before like a black sesame roll
I would have preferred a menu that includes some vegetables, soup and less balls/dumplings.
I presume such things are available, they just weren’t included for our event.

First visit.
The food was good, but the seating system was confusing and not well managed. We arrived early but waited much longer than expected while others were seated first. Some guests simply took seats on their own, and staff didn’t step in. (the number card was meaningless)

The food itself was nice, but the overall experience was disappointing. Other restaurants in this group were much better.

♿️Chef’s Wok has a wheelchair accessible seating, entrance and toilet. For entrances, there are no steps to enter.

Amazing dim sum, great family friendly restaurant. Definitely worth the wait. Siu Mai, Shrimp Dumplings, Peking Duck, broccoli were our table’s favorites.

My family dinner at Chef’s Wok was yesterday evening. My brother and sister-in-law chose this restaurant for our Chinese New Year dinner. I lost count on how many courses were served. It must have been a 10 course meal.

After dining at Agave, I was not sure if I had enough room to digest all that food. What a combo of meals – Mexican and Chinese – and this morning my stomach was a little queasy. Still, the food was great from both venues.

This is my family’s to go dim sum house in Alameda. The prices are right. The dim sum is rock solid. And the dumplings are huge and good. It is not fancy and most of the time, we really aren’t into fancy. We just want it to be satisfying and it is. Service is good and typical for dim sum houses. Parking is easier than Oakland Chinatown and it is safer. It’s a no Brainer for us.

Utterly unacceptable. Forty minutes on a Wednesday night and not even the simplest dish made it out of the kitchen. If a restaurant can’t handle a basic stir-fry in under an hour, what’s the point of the kitchen at all? The only thing this place got right was the attitude of the servers — everything else was a disgrace.

I’ve been coming here a for a year or two and it’s never failed to disappoint! There is a bit of a wait to get seated but the staff are quick and friendly, plus they are used to accommodating large parties of people. It is a bit expensive, but the food is absolutely delicious! My plus 2’s and I ordered a lot of food; I recommend trying the House Special Siu Mai. They’re really big and it tastes good as well! They also serve tea and complimentary spicy sauce. The only downsides are the staff used to be slightly rude (however this problem was fixed a few months back), it’s very chatty and noisy, it’s hard to find parking especially during rush hour or on weekends, and you might also have to wait. Generally, for a group of 3 people you have to wait around ten to 15 minutes during rush hour. However, despite these, I recommend going to this place! The food is really good and I can’t wait to go back!
