Anna greeted us and we were instantly comfortable. The atmosphere is fantastic as we admired the beautiful mosaics. We recommend the mix grill platter in the picture (we added some extras, get the lamb & adana kebab), the feta cheese salad (so fresh) & a hot tea of roobias & cinnamon was a perfect compliment. Expect a tasteful experience and visit the bakery (connected) to see beautiful choices of desserts baked onsite – so unique and exquisite. Just a quick extra: I haven’t seen a more beautiful fondant, so smooth and fun! The staff obviously knows the sugar arts.

Anna was wonderful! She recommended the Mixed Grill for 2 plus the lamb chops. We received a platter of about 6 different meats, a pile of rice, and several different vegetables. We also ordered hummus and the cheese flathead. Everything was well-seasoned and very fresh. The food came out fast and hot. We will definitely be returning!

Chef’s Table Turkish Mediterranean Grill is a great little spot if you’re looking for really good Mediterranean food in Helotes. The place has a cozy, welcoming vibe and the staff are friendly and attentive. The food tastes fresh and full of flavor—especially the grilled meats and kebabs—and the portions are generous. Everything feels homemade and thoughtfully prepared. It’s a nice place for a relaxed dinner with family or friends, and definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area. ️

Everything I had was amazing. I came to the Helotes location and tried the fried eggplant…. OMG it was heaven. Then we had the beef & lamb wraps….as I’m eating it, I’m already thinking when can I come back. The atmosphere is beautiful not to mention the service was perfect. Definitely a place to try if you haven’t. Worth every penny!!

We ordered the mixed grill for two and enjoyed every last bite. The bread and sauce served beforehand were delicious with just the right touch of spice, and my wife absolutely loved the chai. Fantastic food and a great dining experience—highly recommend.

We will definitely be coming back! Everything on the menu looked so good, it was hard to choose. Thankfully our server, Anna, was amazing. She helped us choose the mixed sampler appetizer, some filo feta and the mixed grill for 2. There was so much variety and it was all top notch. It is the best Mediterranean food we have had since we were in Greece. Can’t wait for our next visit!

I wanted to switch things up and take a break from my usual spot, Pasha’s, so I decided to give Chef’s Table Turkish Mediterranean Grill a try. My first experience was a to-go order of the grilled lamb chops. The mini lamb chops and rice were delicious, well-seasoned and cooked nicely. The bread, however, was a bit dry and hard around the edges, and the salad had gotten a little mushy from being packed in with the hot food. Still, it was edible and didn’t take away too much from the meal.
I also couldn’t resist trying a few of their cakes. While they looked appealing, they were a bit on the dry side, especially the chocolate layer.
On a separate occasion, I placed another to-go order to try the grilled sliced lamb (not the chops). The meat was a bit over cooked as well, and I found myself relying on the dipping sauce. The texture reminded me slightly of overcooked meatloaf, which wasn’t quite what I was expecting.
Would I give them another try? Yes. The food can be tasty depending on what you order, though it is on the pricier side. Something to consider if you’re dining with a large group, also given the number of recent service-related reviews at this location, I think my next visit would be better suited as a dine-in experience at their original location to fully enjoy the Turkish experience. To be fair, I can’t rate the atmosphere at this location since my experiences were all to go orders thus far.

Second visit to the second location. Amazing food, as always. The bread and roasted red pepper dip was amazing. The babaganoush was fresh and very tasty. For the mains we had the Chef’s Special and lamb and beef doner. The House salad is delicious! Highly recommend!
