Chef’s Table in Bloomington is an absolute gem. The two owners are a wonderful couple who clearly care deeply about quality and hospitality. They were incredibly kind, friendly, and took the time to chat with us, which made the experience feel personal and welcoming.
We ordered the Grown-Up Sandwich, which was outstanding—pimento cheese, provolone, habanero bacon jam, and diced bacon all came together perfectly. Every bite was delicious. We also had the soup of the day, lasagna soup, and it was just as fantastic. You can truly taste the quality of the ingredients, especially the meat. We’re pretty picky about meat, and this was excellent.
For dessert, we tried the Snickers brownie and the peanut butter cookie. Both were incredibly delicious—rich in flavor, perfectly moist, and clearly made with care. A perfect way to end the meal.
Portions are very generous. My wife and I shared both the sandwich and the soup, and they kindly offered to split everything evenly for us, which we really appreciated.
Great food, quality ingredients, generous portions, amazing desserts, and genuinely kind owners—this place checks all the boxes. We will absolutely be back.

Great overall experience. The food was delicious and the owners were super friendly. My husband had the Chicago Dog which he said was spot on. Best in Bloomington was another comment he made. I had the Chili which had a nice kick to it. I’m glad it’s available daily for those rainy days. Inside seating is small but that’s not a negative. We definitely plan to return!!

(2025) Updated Review: Chef’s Table is still one of my favorite local businesses and so deserving of their accolades. Since my last review as a restaurant visitor, I have had them do a pop-up at our family business (with German food for Oktoberfest) as well as a catered taco bar for a non-profit meeting with over 100 attendees. Both times I was so pleased with the food (obviously) but also the portion sizes, price, and service. My meeting attendees raved about the food, and we had a list of 10-12 people with varying dietary restrictions and allergies. Clard and Tiffany made it work. They can make literally anything at Chef’s Table, and their catering service is my top pick all day every day.

I had The Grownup; holy moly, it was huge and a true grownup grilled cheese packed with flavor. The fries are hands down some of the best in town, so crispy and good. My friend had a potato soup that was so hearty and tasty. We split a peanut butter cookie that tasted better than your grandma’s. Clard and Tiffany are cooking and baking with their heart and soul. I cannot wait to try more of their menu plus some of their specials. I stopped writing restaurant reviews a while back because I hadn’t had a “wow” moment in a long time, but these guys made me feel so warm and fuzzy over a workday lunch.

I’ve ordered takeout and catering, and the food was amazing for both! The owners really take pride in providing quality ingredients and fresh food—they’re really nice people too! Highly recommend the Chicago dogs, cheesesteaks and the desserts. They have different desserts throughout the week! Also, they have dairy-free and gluten-free options upon request!

Got a Philly cheesesteak and the wings. Wings are not on the menu but be sure to ask the owner to see if they are in house! The quality and price of food here is unbeatable. The wings are very large, these pictures don’t even do them justice. 10/10 recommend. The owners, Clard and Tiffany, put so much love into their business and getting to know their customers. Lots of thought is put into serving good food at an affordable price. Check it out for anyone in Bloomington!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had an amazing lunch at Chefs Table Catering in Bloomington with Jarod M! ️ The corn chowder was so good, it was enough for my whole meal! Tried a Mediterranean salad and got a free upgrade to steak instead of chicken, which was a delightful surprise. Ended the meal with a delicious chocolate pretzel brownie. I had the pleasure of meeting the owners last week while I was working nearby. I stopped in for lunch and enjoyed the special that day which was a chicken gyro with their house seasoned chips. I can honestly say I was blown away by how flavorful everything was and will definitely be a repeat customer. Stop in and meet the owners and give this place a try! You won’t be sorry! Their food definitely stands out among your choices to dine on the west side!

Stopped in for the first time today on a recommendation, and the sandwich I got was EXACTLY what I was hoping for. I ordered the Grown Up and it did not disappoint! The chips that came with the sandwich were also great. Looking forward to returning.

I went to Chef’s Table Catering while in town Wednesday. Ordered the Italian and chips which were delicious. The owners were really nice and the atmosphere was family friendly for my children, who enjoyed the hotdogs and fries. The homemade lemonade were also a delicious way to cool off on a hot summer day.
