If you dine here, you MUST do the actual chef’s tables in the back of the house! It’s worth every penny! First, you’ll feel nostalgic as you go back in time on the way to your table, walking through the original reception area for the Edgewater Inn from 1927. Then sit back and enjoy being catered to, table side, as you choose from a special menu that changes every 6 weeks per chef’s choosing. Mocktails are also amazing…. Try the hibiscus and lavender one!! We had elk and 12hr braised beef rib that was mouth watering! Definitely an experience to try at least once

This place is amazing! We went at the recommendation of a family member and we will definitely be back. The staff was so kind and wonderful to have a conversation with. The food was phenomena as well! We haven’t been able to stop talking about this place and we definitely will be back as soon as we can.

The Tasting Room is an addition to the broader Chef’s Table restaurant. Despite sharing the same kitchen, The Tasting Room provided a high-quality dining experience that focused on small, high-quality dishes. We started with delicious duck fat fries elevated by truffle oil and a smoked aioli. Next, we ordered the pan roasted brussel sprouts. The bleu cheese topping added a rich flavor. They were so scrumptious that we talked ourselves out of a second order. The Asian beef was accompanied by a slaw and Sriracha, creating a complex dish with international influences. However, the steak was not as savory as expected. Yet, the wings shined with flavorful seasoning. Our Chicken pot pie had a flaky golden crust, but something was missing. Everything came out as it was finished, ending the possibility of cold plates on the table. We paired our food with cocktails, including a standout blueberry lemon drop martini. We ordered the sweet potato bread pudding as a delightful dessert. Our server, Mackenzie, also embodied the restaurant’s welcoming atmosphere. She provided amazing service and delectable suggestions.
As ownership transitions, I hope The Tasting Room keeps the quality and charm that will keep me coming back.

This place was such an incredible find! Never expected this level of food in old winter garden. Best meal I’ve had in a long time! The mushroom chive roulade was impeccable and the pork ribeye was the best piece of pork I’ve ever had. Will be going back again and again! Do yourself a favor and plan a date night here!

Always a great place for dinner. The menu changes every few months and always has me wanting to come back for a delicious surprise. The duck liver and steak are amazing (but everything is amazing there). The service is very friendly and you get to talk to the chef. The place could be designed nicer but it is a very casual “nice restaurant”.

It was my second time here the first many years ago and this time when a friend had a party there. The food was amazing and the staff treated us like royalty. Sad that this is their last year for this kind of dining experience. Kudos to them! Thank you for a great experience.

OMG! One of the best overall meals I have ever had. Virtually everything my wife and I had was exquisite, she the fish and I the duck. We shared, of course:-)

Amazing experience at chef’s table. The waiter knows the menu and knows how to recommend dishes and drinks. The appetizers and desserts were phenomenal

The Chefs Table in downtown Winter Garden easily has some of the best food in the state of Florida. The Beef tartare was fantastic and had the perfect balance with cornishones and spices. The fish, wish was Alaskan Cod was cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth. The pork ribeye was probably the best piece of pork I’ve ever had!
The level of service from the waitstaff was amazing. The amount of knowledge they have about food and wine is top notch. If you truly want a memorable evening make sure you get the wine pairings! Thank you to the Chefs Table team for a fantastic evening. We will definitely be returning.

The food itself was decent, but the overall experience didn’t really justify the price. I’d been saving this place for a special occasion because it’s expensive, so my expectations were fairly high.
The first issue was the water, which tasted like unfiltered tap water and wasn’t drinkable. At this price point, I’d expect at least filtered water. The bread was similarly underwhelming. Instead of a selection of warm, interesting breads, we were served a plain white roll.
Those details set the tone before the food even arrived. While the dishes were good, they weren’t served hot, and neither were the plates. These may seem like minor points, but in a restaurant charging this much, they matter.
Overall, the experience felt a little sloppy and careless. At around $100 per person with just one glass of wine, it’s not somewhere I’d be eager to return. It has great potential though and a great atmosphere. I hope they will fine tune the experience for others.
