We’re traveling to Alabama and decided to take a break from the traffic and wanted somewhere different to have a good southern sit-down meal, and we found this gem ✨️! This will definitely be on our stops for now on! It has a country store when you 1st walk in and served buffet style! The menu has a lot of different options, and you can have them grill items as well thats made to order!

The only complaint about this restaurant is that if it’s your first time it’s hard to navigate. Fortunately, the staff were friendly. The food is amazing and there are so many options. You can sample items and a dinner is 1 meat and any 2 sides plus your choice of roll. There are cakes by the slice and homemade cookies which are delicious. A little boutique store in the front as well. A perfect stop for people who want to skip the downtown crush.

This is a tough review for me because everyone has different tastes- and this place was not mine. But that said- I can tell of course the food is good quality and prepared well, it’s just not to my “taste”. It appears to be popular with plenty of others though so I must just have a different palate. The line/service is quite confusing though for first timers, it’s a little haphazard but you’ll figure it out if you ask someone for help. The staff was very friendly and the ambiance of the space was welcoming with a little shop-like feel. I really wanted to like the food but just didn’t. Is what it is- your experience may vary!

The setup is confusing, but staff was very helpful. Walk through the kitsch to the food in the back. You order your food, but you don’t pay then. They call your name and they give you food and a ticket. You pay with the ticket on your way out.

My dad and I came in for the first time tonight. The food was to die for, but the service was even better! I hope the man that helped us (the owner, maybe?) sees this because he was SO nice. I’m the Hattie B’s worker. 😉 We will be back! Oh, and the White Chocolate Banana Pudding is a MUST!

Great cafeteria style with many different selections. Large portions. Meatloaf, green beans with almonds, vegetable casserole, creamed spinach, large wrap with a lot of filling. All was excellent. Then took a piece of cake to go. Carrot cake. Also excellent. Everyone was so nice. Just visiting area. Want to come back just to come here again!
