Steak and eggs was great. Also the try it all omelette was filling and delicious, it’s similar to the meat lovers omelette. Would come back.

Service was quick and efficient. And our server was kind and attentive.

Tasty local spot for brunch. They have a large menu selection, and everything is well prepared. Would definitely recommend their Corned Beef Hash as well as their Omelettes. Service can be slow at times, but they often have a very heavy demand on the weekends. Classic comfy greasy spoon ambiance. Looking forward to coming again soon.

It’s basically a deli with upscale sandwiches.
Good tasting, but expensive. I mean, $15, $16, $17 for a sandwich is over the top. It’s not like Carnegie Deli in NY back in the day when the sandwiches were stacked 4 inches high. More like 2″ high
Gourmet taste, but again price is to high
In today’s world, they should be
$ 12
My wife and I are not big eaters so we share one. They’re not huge sandwiches but enough to fill us
If we were normal eaters, purchased 2 sandwiches and 2 sodas, etc
We’d be spending $38 ,plus tax
Come on
We have water in the car

Off Route 7 connecting VT and MA, The Chef’s Hat has a lot to offer both breakfast and lunch. We tried their Monte Cristo and Waffle w/blueberries. Both were amazing and the service was friendly. Will definitely stop by again if in the area.

Great little diner/restaurant where you know that everyone there has known one another for decades. Also friendly atmosphere for tourists and non-locals alike. Good for groups (there was a ladies club there when we went), families, couples or singles.

Hit the spot after stealth camping in the state park next door. While bike touring from NY to ME, i needed a hearty breakfast and staple lunch for the road. I got just that; although not explicitly listed (YET), i found myself with a deliciously packed burrito to go. With their proximity en route for travelers into VT, it should become a special order.

Good food and service but the serving sizes are very small. If you are going to charge extra for breakfast potatoes, I should get a decent serving for the price.

Nice place, huge portion for breakfast. Delicious homemade home fries. 10 percent discount to veterans on Thursday. 20 percent to all police, fire and emergency, or paramedics everyday.

Quaint small town breakfast diner. This is the type of place where you will hear people talking about their kids going back to schools and local teams. They cater to what you need. Down home favorite.
