Customer service great when I come in.. Not so much when the hubby is the only one going in… I will leave it at that.. Plus if you are parked behind one of the workers waiting on your husband to come out 2 of the women one who is eldery will start making assumption about why you’re parked behind them and the bad part The elderly lady who works there wasn’t even parked in the parking spot she was parked where you’re supposed to be able to drive around in the parking area but as I said this would’ve been a whole different situation in my heart I believe if it wasn’t for my husband walking in there very sad they have excellent food but the worst customer service the worst attitude on some issues especially in this time and day by the way (and this is solely for the workers that work there )my husband is not only a minister he’s a veteran who served in the Marines and army for everybody!

We had never eaten there and thought we’d give it a shot. We were greeted by a nice lady and explained we could get lunch or breakfast. I had sausage gravy and potato wedges (they call them home fries) and my husband has the porkchops breakfast plate. (It came with 2 thin pork chops, egg and potato wedges) My sausage gravy csme out first. The sausage gravy DIDN’T HAVE ANY SAUSAGE in it. My husbands plate came out 18 minutes later. (Yes I timed it) My husband requested a side of sausage so I could add it to my gravy. The sausage was awful, and the gravy was canned. My husband thought his porkchops tasted funny, so I took a bite. It tastes like it was freezer burn. Nobody came to see if everything was okay or if we needed anything else. To top it off, when my husband went to pay for the “meal” it came to $38 and some change. Oh, and we had Unsweetened tea, which also sucked. We won’t be going back there.

Cheese burgers not so great, they tasted like they were cooked in the oven, no flavor at all and were Luke warm.
Not sure if there’s a filler in the meat but me and my husband are still full from yesterday’s lunch, and our tummys hurt.

Food was good for most. Ordered 2 burger combos and a chicken filet combo with milkshakes ran us $30.00. Made to order, took about 20 minutes after decided what wanted. If in a hurry this not the stop for you. Burgers were big and looked good. I had a chicken sandwich that i did not enjoy at all, so trashed it after 1 bite. It tasted more like a chuckwagon. Wendy’s spicy chicken better and less costs. Milkshakes were good. No online menu. Here is pic of menu.

The food was ok, for the price it was great. Service was great, and so was the look, smell, and feel of the place. It brought me back to 1976 eating breakfast with my father. I grew up going to a place just like it.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch while we were in Altavista. Our hamburgers were delicious, perfectly cooked, and quite eye appealing. Our waitress was on point. It has a real down home feeling. My onion rings were also very tasty. I would recommend stopping in to everyone who wants a fast bite to eat.
