LISTEN!!! If you are looking for a top tier dining spot, THIS IS IT! The food here is so good, I wish there was a better word than delicious! Everything we ordered was amazingly prepared and expertly plated. And the price??? More than reasonable. The vibe is so soulful it feels like dinner at home. This has to be on EVERY to do list for anyone visiting fort worth!.

First time & I will be back! Our server Ms Renisha was amazing!! Nice meeting Mr Adams the new general manager!! Now we ordered Gumbo, Shrimp,Catfish with Grits and Chicken & Waffles! Everything was hot and had really good flavor!

my first visit, and I found the waitress to be friendly and polite. While my initial meal choice did not fully impress me, I would be open to returning to try other menu options. The drink order was somewhat inconsistent, but the overall atmosphere was pleasant, with a spacious and comfortable setting. Our 2nd experience was horrible. Poor customer service, food cold. We waited exactly 1hour still had not eaten. Drink was under mid, it was flavorless. There is no urgency or teamwork agmonst the staff. We ended up sending ALL the food back which ended up coming out as we were leaving. All we wanted was a nice meal but not to wait all day with no apology or empathy on the situation. Had the customer service been decent we probably would have just stayed and stuck it out but NOPE. And we were told to seat ourselves This was a very bad experience.

This was my first time visiting the restaurant, and while there was a brief service lapse at the start, the experience quickly turned into something wonderful. The managers were personable, professional, and friendly, and I even had the chance to meet Chef Mike, the owner — a down-to-earth, God-fearing man who genuinely loves feeding people and sharing knowledge about the community. Our waitress, Tee(ask for her), delivered exceptional service and made the meal even more enjoyable. Please come out, show love, and support this gem of a place.

My meal came out and I had to wait another 13 mins for my mates meal to come out. I feel no one associated to the place should be eating when the patrons are waiting more than 25 minutes for their meal. But the food was awesome. Would been better if it was Hot still!

Came here for lunch since I work not too far away and got the fried pork chop, yams, and greens. Food was REALLY good! Service was great and friendly. Might’ve just found my new lunch spot during the week! The new GM came out and introduced himself and ensured us if we had any issues he would handle it but thankfully didn’t need to. Definitely going back and recommend!

this could be a very cool spot 1st I went here everything was good drinks & food, 2nd time food 3/5, 3rd time 2/5, 4th time will make me not visit anymore. The food has taken a big hit its not good at all. but my last visit is the reason for the review. We were just looking to grab a drink , I told my friends that Chef Corner had great drinks. we walked in sat at the bar we were there for 15mins and the lady behind the bar did everything but ask us if we needed anything. Finally I was able to get the attention of another staff member she took my drink order and payment. Another 15mins had passed and she asked the bar tender was she going to make my drink I am not sure what her response was but judging by her facial and body language the answer had to be no. I just asked for my money back. The staff member gave me the money back and we left. The crazy thing is we came in sat down as others did. There was a party going on the other side but that still shouldn’t have stopped her from seeing about us as she did other people sitting at the bar. I just hate that people pick and choose who they want to service. we were coming from a dinner so we were over dressed so she couldn’t have thought we couldn’t pay. Even if so you still should show respect to people in general.

My husband and I ate here today for our anniversary and the whole experience was so amazing! The sever and the rest of the staff were 5/5 and the food was 5/5! We got the collard greens spinach dip, I got the lamb shank and he got the gumbo Thank you for such an amazing meal. By far the best soul food in Fort Worth! We will be back!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place! The shrimp and grits, chicken & waffles, are culinary masterpieces! The staff was friendly and welcoming as soon as we walked through the door. This location has changed hands a few times but this one right here is strait up FIRE!!! A little pricey but worth it!!!!

This was my first time & I must say it was HORRIBLE my appetizer jalapeños poppers was a joke over cooked cold & hard. My chicken fried steak was ok but, the potters were cold cornbread was doable. And them greens was gross taste like out the can no flavor old turkey meat. I wouldn’t feed that crap to my dog if I had one. I will not be back. Sorry not sorry. This was the only photo I got of the poppers
