There’s nothing better than to be greeted with a smile and a great attitude! Julio was the best server he made us feel welcomed and had a great sense of humor! The food was hot, delicious and plentiful. They have plenty of seating and parking in the back and front of the restaurant. We will definitely come back when we’re in town.

This is going to be my new favorite breakfast place. We ordered classic waffles, breakfast burritos and California omlette. Everything was too notch including the buttery hash browns. Roasted potatoes were the only thing a little underwhelming.

Best brunch in town. I’m pretty picky about breakfast food because I feel like my own homemade pancakes/waffles etc are pretty tasty, but this place is honestly delicious. I love the chipotle cream crepes with spinach and egg (vegetarian)!, my kids love the chocolate chip pancakes and benedicts, the owners are super duper friendly. It’s really great. We are now totally loyal to it, wouldn’t think of going to B***’s anymore and Uncle **? Please. This place feels cozier, fresher, cleaner, and definitely yummier. Highly recommend!

Wwoooowwwwww!!!!! Hands Down the best most flavorful breakfast I’ve had in the whole state of California!!! . The pancakes are to die for. The skillets are top tier and exploding with flavors. If you are in downtown looking for breakfast look no further! And they have all the empanadas you can imagine! I’ll be back for sureeee!

Great Mexican/fusion food! We tried the aggs ahogado and the Cajun chicken sandwich. The chicken was a bit drier than I would have loved but it was still decent. They have a huge menu, lot of interesting alcohol options to choose from as well. They specialize in fresh baked sweet/savory empanadas as well.

Our server was also polite and patient. Would definitely visit again.

I ordered the Menudo and the tostadas with mole, and unfortunately this was one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. The potatoes, chicken, and even the Menudo did not taste fresh. The Menudo tasted several days possibly a week old and seemed close to spoiled. It was thick, had an off flavor, and the chicken was dark with a strange taste that was definitely not from the mole. I don’t understand how people can enjoy eating at this location when the food is literally verged to being spoiled. There was definitely nothing fresh and for being a Mexican restaurant. It’s very disappointing because of the quality was extremely. No one really cared about taking care of the guest and all you were able to see was the manager‘s flirting with the young Hostess ladies. They did have good music and a nice drink but when it comes to food, it was extremely disgusting. Definitely not worth 60 bucks. People please stop supporting bad restaurants

First, let me start by saying if you haven’t been to Cheff Che, run, don’t walk! The food at this establishment is to die for. Every single item that was ordered was delicious, pleasing to the eye, and was at the right temperature. The staff was welcoming and even offered suggestions on their most popular items. The empanadas are also a must. We tried the guava & cheese and the mango & cheese, and both were a flavor explosion. I cannot imagine anyone coming here and not enjoying the food. Just superb!

Don’t sleep on this new San Jose gem! The owner had let me know they’ve been at this location around 8 months. The service I received today was all around perfect! I was greeted by all staff that were so attentive and made me feel like I was a valued regular even though this was my first time trying this business! Let me tell you the serving portions are massive! We tried the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich, The Angus Beef Sandwich, the Breakfast Burrito and empanadas!!! My only complaint is I didn’t order another plate to go!! I found out about this restaurant from Instagram posts I was seeing everyday and wanted to make sure it was worth all the hype and it beyond exceeded my expectations! Definitely going to try their dinner menu as there were so many options to choose from I won’t know what to pick first! Please try this establishment you won’t be disappointed!!

The empanadas were super light and the right amount of sweet. We tried the guava flavor & cream cheese flavor and the custard flavor. They were yumm. I loved the Sandia agua fresca, it was very refreshing but it was definitely priced more for the quantity of the drink. We also had the veggie skillet. The eggs in the skillet was very light and fluffy. I wish they had more veggies instead of too much potatoes. Nothing to complain about the service or the ambience.

I was getting my car done in the neighborhood so I thought I would stop by for some food. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious. Plenty of parking and tables. Their outdoor seating is nice as you sit on the Alameda. I will definitely be coming back.
