If you want more quality Chinese food in this area, look no further than this spot right here. Very high quality dishes. Did take out but would have done sit down.

WORST SERVICE EVER ! I ordered here and left Togo and I didn’t really check because I have ordered here for years now and when I came home. Opened the bag and opened all the food and when I picked up the sauce under it I saw a roach in the wings and screamed I hate creepy crawlys so this made me so mad and disgusted now I went on phone and saw another review saying there was a roach in their food. So it happend multiple times before. Never ordering here again especially because there’re is a 4 star review.

First time here. Was craving Szechuan food so much last night that I had to try a new place while picking up NYSSMA pieces in the area. The people there are very friendly and provide excellent customer service. I especially appreciate their kind gestures of carrying the bag out and even the way they packaged the food. The fish was not soggy with the sauce since they packed the sauce separately. It remained crispy too. The puffed pastry chicken stayed crispy for the 25 min drive because they made holes in the lid. Our family enjoyed all of it. Will def return in the future 🙂

A gem in South Shore Long Island serving up exceptional Sichuan cuisine.

Outside doesn’t look like much and I have driven by many times without giving the place a 2nd glance. Inside speaks differently as the Koi pond indicates. The venue is spacious & comfortable.

I was an invited guest for dinner after attending a private event with Lang Lang the renowned pianist. His father joined us for dinner.

I can’t really describe the dishes since I did not peruse the menu. But I did enjoy each one with a fervor. However, the fish dish did have a pork sauce I believe.

Drinks are inexpensive so I’m surprised the bar isn’t packed.

3rd time dining here in less than a month. The food is really marvelous. Venue can probably use some new upgrades & decor.

Ordered take out. Food was wonderful as usual.

Generally, this is a favorite restaurant on Long Island. The place is clean and the food is great. However, after five years of eating at this establishment, we encountered the rudest front of desk manager. My cousin brought her service dog which was actually in her right to do so. However, she would have willingly obliged to just leave the dog outside. The man was rude and screamed at her to get out. Later on, I tried to explain to him that he should have had a better attitude. He told me if I wanted a better attitude, I could feel free to go somewhere else. That’s their customer service in a nutshell. Many of the employees saw the disturbance and secretly apologized. Apparently, he’s rude to them too.

Food is normally good. Some dishes not so. We ordered Vegetable Chow Fun last week. The only vegetables in that was onion and bean sprouts. Upon complaining. The servers were very rude. The manager refused to meet us at the table. When we met him on the way out, he said that Veg Chis Fun only has onions and bean sprouts. No other vegetables. He too was very rude. Will not visit this restaurant again.

Over the past decade my family ate here many times, we dined in before moving to LI and after moving to LI we mainly got deliveries. Both the quality and quantity of the dishes greatly declined. Such a sad situation to see this restaurant in. This last delivery was the final straw, we won’t be ordering or eating at Chef Wang again. Beef Lo mein was very lackluster, even the color was off. General Tso’s chicken clumped together and the breading fell off on some pieces, the dish came with raw broccoli… at least boil it, it’s not that hard. Sizzling beef on the other hand came with raw pieces of lotus root and cauliflower with beef pieces playing hide and seek amongst piles of dried chili pepper. Double sauté pork and beef in chili oil were decent but just decent, much better back in the day. The only thing that stayed consistent in taste was probably their fortune cookies.

Hello!

I’ve already been here SO MANY times, and I’ve always been satisfied.

First, although the restaurant was super busy, we got seated quickly and were given free peanuts to enjoy while thinking of our orders. We were able to adjust the spicy level of our food to be less spicy.

The food at this restaurant is ON POINT 😀

This time we got a nice spicy fish dish and a griddled pork intestines. Both came in a cool plating, where they put a small flame at the bottom to keep in hot (Don’t worry, the flame disappears later). We also got a beef noodle soup, which is one of my favorites.

Of all the times we went to Chef Wang, some of my favorite dishes are the sesame chicken, fried rice, and sautéed string beans. Their Kani Salad is also super scrumptious.

Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. Super delicious food, amazing service, and a nice atmosphere.

Thanks! 😀

1 word… AMAZING. Best Chinese food I’ve ever had!! Everything there is amazing. I usually order to go, but decided to sit down and the food is *chefs kiss* so unbelievably tasty. Their spicy food is not as spicy as you’d think! The little juicy pork buns are TO DIE FOR! The first time I ordered them I didn’t know what to expect and let me tell you… it 100% exceeded my expectations. Everything is so delicious!!! Oh my goodness. I love it here.

Living in South Florida full time I truly miss authentic Szechuan Chinese food as we’ve yet to find a good place down here. Whenever I’m back on Long Island I always make it a point to stop in Chef Wang’s. Servers are great and the food is always consistent. Excellent Hot & Sour as well.
