Chef Vo Quoc Vietnamese Cuisines is an absolute gem tucked inside City Square Mall. From the moment you step in, you’re welcomed by warm hospitality and aromas that immediately transport you to the heart of Vietnam.

The food is outstanding and authentic, vibrant, and beautifully balanced. Every dish reflects the freshness and depth of true Vietnamese cooking, from fragrant broths to perfectly grilled meats and refreshing herbs. You can really taste the chef’s passion and culinary craft in every bite.

Service is friendly, efficient, and attentive, adding to an already delightful dining experience. Whether you’re a longtime fan of Vietnamese cuisine or trying it for the first time, this place offers flavours that feel both comforting and exceptional.

A fantastic spot in Farrer Park for families, friends, or anyone craving a satisfying and authentic Vietnamese meal. Highly recommended and a must-try in City Square Mall!

Super friendly and attentive staff. They were able to pre-empt we were sharing without us even mentioning and provided us sharing cutlery and bowls as such.

Food wise, had the bahn mi combo which was a great way to share and sample their different bahn mi ingredients. Also ordered the “add on” pho noodles and beef with poached egg. Beef was nice, broth was not too salty. The coffee was sweet and strong and the juice (apple + guava) was really really fresh and nice. Spring rolls were fresh and peanut sauce so good we polished off everything.

Spent Valentine’s day here and it was peaceful and enjoyed myself. Would be back to try the other food for sure!

This has jumped to my top spot for Vietnamese cuisine in Singapore. I only have one picture of the food, primarily because I was too hungry and couldn’t wait to dig in. But this place has a very interesting menu. The salads are not the usual, I had the Lotus Root Salad that was awesome. The fried Seafood Spring Rolls was served with a heap of herbs including shiso leaves (interesting). The Hue Spicy Beef Noodles was also a very nice twist, something we don’t usually find in menus here. I am definitely gunning for a next trip here.
* Update #1: Brought my parents here. My mum gave thumbs up, which is rare. She especially loved the lotus root salad.

I eat a 95% vegetarian diet with about 5% reserved for fresh caught sea bass. I have had lots of vegetarian Banh Mi sandwiches. After having Chef Vo’s version…it will be hard to go back. The bread is so freshly baked while the tofu, chay and other toppings & spread are so delicious…the sandwich is other worldly! I also my first cup of Vietnamese coffee recommended by one of my sons. Amazing experience. Finally, my husband and I had our first taste of Durian via the pineapple-durian dessert. Delish!

Yes, it is in a mall that may not equate to the Raffles. But, go for the food although the restaurant made our date night special with new experiences and EXCELLENT service…speaking of…

Service is amazing l! The service was thoughtful while they actually anticipated what we would need. Finally, they allowed us to enjoy the experience versus the West where
diners are now given a time limit to fellowship with loved ones.

Atmosphere: You are visiting family – casual, welcoming and endearing.

We stumbled upon this wonderful Vietnamese restuarant when we were casually walking inside City Square Mall. The beef pho and fried chicken springroll were delicious. The soup for the pho was made of top quality; no msg is required. The eggyolk coffee is so good that a second order was placed We highly recommend this place for authentic Vietnamese food. Not forgetting the very friendly service crew.

Got recommended by my manicurist, so I brought my friends here for dinner — and we all loved it!
My manicurist told me that the founder is a top chef in Vietnam, and after trying the food, I can understand why. Everything was really delicious.
Honestly, the food was so good that we didn’t pay much attention to the service — we were too busy enjoying every dish!

Went for dinner keen to use grab discount to pay but was told that they only open from 2pm to 5pm… But they are open. Regardless i was told that they will offer a 10% discount.

Not the most egregious illegal busines conduct, that award goes to basil king but my new year resolution is to report eateries that offers something in exchange for review.

So here is how.
1) Under edit select “report business conduct”
2) a windown will pop up select offer something in “exchange for review”
3) upload your evidence
4) you will receive an email acknowledgment
Please report to root out this practice.

Disclaimer they gave me a 10% despite me refusing to do the review.

Food review
Ordered Bun cha hanoi for $13.50 plus gst.

Pork: okay
Vege: good
Soup: okay
Amount for money: poor

Pork was more tender than average, of course of parts are tougher but compare to other pork of the same part they are more tender. Taste wise it wasn’t the best. No grilled taste of meat to be had.

I like the spread of vege ratio of vege they gave was good. Mint is really a guilty pleasure.

Soup was okay, mostly lukewarm which is bad. It is more on the sweet side.

Amount of pork it comes is not alot. For something over $15. Quality of pork might be better than average but the grilling not so.

Every dish we tried was absolutely phenomenal. The Bánh Xèo (Vietnamese Sizzling Pancake) has to be my favorite; it was perfectly crispy and packed with flavor. The Bánh Bò Huế (Spicy Beef Noodle Soup) and the Bánh Mì (Vietnamese Sandwich) were also excellent and tasted incredibly fresh. I also loved trying the lesser-known, chee cheong fun look-alike dish—it was a great introduction to something new and delicious!

Beyond the awesome food, the service was outstanding. The staff were super friendly and went above and beyond to make our meal enjoyable. They thoughtfully helped us by splitting the noodles into two small bowls for easy sharing and even cut the Bánh Mì in half. This kind of attentive service really elevated the whole experience.

With a good atmosphere, great service, and awesome, authentic food, this is easily one of the best Vietnamese spots around. We will absolutely be returning soon!

First time here after the renovation on City Square Mall at Level 4. This is one of the more popular ones on this level apart from Michelin Kok Sen, they were nearly full on a weekday evening.
The dry noodles is simple but satisfying with fresh chicken strips. For the drink it was a little sweet for my liking, and the cashier/manager (I’m assuming) gave me a Vietnamese tea. Very soothing and warm, both the drink and the service.
Will come back and try other food again.

Had a very satisfying lunch at this restaurant. Ingredients are fresh and aromatic. The fried onions used in the lotus root salads are freshly fried, not the ready made. Prawns are succulent. Very spacious and airy space. Will visit again to try other dishes .
