I had lunch today. The grilled catfish was great. Lightly dusted with flour and mild spices then grilled. It was very, very good.
I had the cabbage which was stewed with bits of smoked pork and other ingredients, not just stewed in water.
The pinto beans were awesome. I would bet they were prepared fresh, not a can, awesome.
If you want a taste of the true southern cooking, it’s a must.

Chef T’s did not disappoint. So hard to find a southern cooked meal at a restaurant that tastes right out of grandmas kitchen but they mail it. The greens were so yummy. Had blackberry cobbler for dessert and was SO DELICIOUS. Super friendly staff as well.

I had an amazing experience at Chef T Restaurant! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was top-notch. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we felt welcomed throughout our meal.
The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. You can truly taste the passion and creativity in every bite. Whether you’re looking for a casual meal or a special night out, Cheft T is definitely the place to go.
Highly recommend this hidden gem! I’ll definitely be back soon.

I had the chopped hamburger steak and it didn’t taste that good to me. It wasn’t seasoned except for the gravy and onions. But normally it’s a good place to eat and I love their fried green tomatoes!

Love this place!! Food is amazing. Hospitality is wonderful. I’ve driven right by them on 431 for years and never knew! Don’t let the old school southern hole in the wall charm deceive you. This place is the bomb for that old school southern comfort food fix! Yummy!

Absolute Gem near Anniston. I got the fried pork chop lunch special with collards and pinto beans. Everything was absolutely delicious, perfectly seasoned, cooked to order
Service was exactly what Southern hospitality is supposed to be, everybody was friendly, attentive, and really cared about my experience. A must stop if you’re ever near the area

We’ve ate here in the past and it was pretty good. But stopped in today and the hamburgers tasted horrible like the meat was not fresh tasting at all. The cake tasted straight from a box. The waitresses was not very friendly, and we had empty cups till we left. For $40 we was very disappointed.

Super-relaxing and laid-back; home-style cookin’! Everything delicious, especially the chicken liver and gizzards (super crispy and not soggy or overly salty. Great catfish and sides. Child-friendly but really just friendly in general!

Chef T’s is yet another BBQ diner off route 431. It isn’t the worst BBQ I’ve had nor the best! It’s good tho and I did enjoy it. The best part of this diner was the genuine southern hospitality the staff greeted me with throughout my experience. The chef even came out from the kitchen to make sure everything was okay. The menu is priced at a steal if you’re looking for a quick cheap meal on the go.
