Vietnamese restaurant in flushing. Parking is quite tight so you might need to find parking in the side streets as opposed to the main road. Pho was good, spring rolls, was kind of a miss compared to different Vietnamese restaurants. Got the iced coffee as well which was great. Overall, decent pho, I’d probably skip the spring rolls next time. Service was excellent!

Chef Papa is an authentic Vietnamese spot and I loved the food here. The beef pho had a rich, flavorful broth, the fried chicken was crispy and juicy, and the spring rolls were fresh and delicious. The beef sandwich was amazing and definitely a highlight. Everything tasted authentic and well made. Highly recommend if you’re craving real Vietnamese food!

An absolute gem in the heart of Flushing! Chef Papa delivers a perfect mix of comfort and creativity — every dish feels like it’s made with love and precision. The flavors are bold yet balanced, and the presentation is top-notch.
The space is clean, cozy, and modern with a welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home. Service is attentive without being intrusive — the staff truly care that you’re enjoying your meal.
Highly recommend trying their signature pho, crispy spring rolls, and house specials — each bite reminds you why this spot stands out in such a competitive food scene.
Flushing has no shortage of great restaurants, but Chef Papa is definitely one you’ll come back to again and again.

Have eaten here several times within the last two years. Everything on the menu is authentic. The pho broth is clean and meat is delicious- my favorite is short-rib pho. The summer rolls are fresh. I prefer them with tofu, but the shrimp is tasty as well. Banh mi sandwich is amazing with fresh vegetables, pork and creamy pate. The bread itself is light and airy. Grilled pork chop with vegetables and fish sauce is mouthwatering…and their leek pancakes are bomb. Also, the customer service is genuine and attentive…the staff really is so kind.

Some of the best pho in the city. Their service is fast but the food is delicious. The space is not huge but most people finish their meals fast.

Loved the pho and loved the salt n pepper squid, yuzu soda is really good with the meal but ask for no or lite ice cause they feel that cup up with ice unnecessarily

Been going here regularly the past year for good Pho noodles. I’ve tried their Bahn mi as well and they were also really good, something I’d definitely order again. Their leek appetizer is also very chewy and savory.

BBQ pork also tasted like teriyaki marinade.
Food highlights- squid and summer rolls were good and reasonably priced

Today was just not the day. An otherwise solid 4-5 star meal all the other times I’ve visited for lunch, today was a first to go for an early dinner and regret it. Ordered signature and chicken pho, both incredibly salty. Seeing as the kitchen was very busy (forgetting our order of spring rolls until we pointed it out more than halfway through the meal), I poured half my water into the soup to mellow it out. Empty water cup never refilled. Forgotten Thai iced tea order came near the end of finishing the meal.
The saving grace was the banh xeo which thankfully has always been a hit so far, and served fresh and with good timing. The waitress even warned it takes some time to make when ordered, which was fine until we noticed the fastest orders were forgotten (referring to the aforementioned Thai iced tea and spring rolls).
For me, it seems to be busier when I come for lunch, but have not had a negative experience. Perhaps tonight they were short staffed? New employee in training? Somehow there were too many misses today which compelled me to write this review. I hope my next visit will be better.

We were in the area for some food shopping when we stumbled upon this gem. We had the Summer Roll, Pork Chop over White Rice, Grilled Lemongrass Chicken over White Rice and the Thai Iced Tea. Everything was fresh and delicious. Flavor was AMAZING!!!
The food took a while to come out which is understandable since they had a sign stating they were understaffed BUT NOT when our food came out after guests that came after us.
The atmosphere and decor was rustic, cozy and comfortable.
Overall we had a good experience and would visit again when we’re in the area.
