First time we have tried this restaurant, and so disappointed we have not been there sooner. Started with the dates and shrimp in Gorgonzola cheese sauce. Oh my! When you have all three tastes together it is mind blowing. Beyond delicious!!! I had the blackened flounder with shrimp. More flavor than heat. Terrific. My other two diners had Mikey’s stuffed shrimp and Mikey’s Chicken. Just fabulous. Call out to the waiter and bar staff. Friendly and very helpful. Will visit here again.

You will never have a bad meal at Chef Mickey’s Place. Excellent food, excellent service. Found him about 10 years ago. Zucchini soup was delicious as the founder stuffed with crab and shrimp stuffed with crab and a cream sauce. America dollars was $85 with 2waters, 1 wine and one Cuba libra.

We loved it. Highly recommend the blackened ribeye and shrimp. The shrimp is stuffed with some kind of blue crab creation, and it was super unique and flavorful. Atmosphere is more quiet, dark, and relaxing. Service was really good. We will be back several more times for sure.

If you want to have a fancy meal at a very nice restaurant, this is the place. I would highly recommend for any special occasion. When you walk in, you know from the ambiance that it is not casual dining. The menu has many items. I always go with the chicken new Mexico., but all the other items are excellent as well. All meals come with either soup or salad and some complementary bread. I’ve been coming here since day 1, and I highly recommend this place.

If you are VEGAN or VEGETARIAN, this is the spot for you. They are so kind and will accommodate and with happiness make any safe meal for you. It doesn’t matter what’s on the menu, they were so absolutely accommodating and kind about what I could and couldn’t eat. Very creative and the mile was insane! Hands down the absolute best. I can not wait to be back. It feels more like family than being at a restaurant. An absolute gem. Also, good wine options!!!!

This restaurant is very dangerous for people with food allergies.
My wife has Celiac disease. She presented the waiter with a card, written in Spanish, explaining that she needs a gluten free meal. The waiter read the card, told us he understood, and would speak to the chef to ensure the order was prepared correctly.
Her order was brought out and she noticed it was breaded. She asked if this was a gluten free breading and the staff acknowledged their mistake and took it away.
Chef Mickey himself came out and spoke to us. He offered to re-make the meal to be gluten-free and we agreed. However, he began making excuses and blaming us for the failure of him and his staff to provide what my wife ordered in the first place. He claimed the error was that MY dish was made gluten free, which is actually insane since I got the shrimp & mac. We questioned this bizarre claim and asked how many more errors were going to be made during this visit. He became so upset that he told my us to leave and he wouldn’t charge us (we didn’t eat anything).
Overall it was a terrible experience.

Nice Italian dive, cozy small restaurant with a great bar. Great atmosphere, with a modern vibe. The food was surprisingly delicious given the fact that one was in Rocky Point and the portions are generous, I would have rated the food 5 stars however the bread served for the table and meal was not a hearty Italian bread with a nice crust. As one knows with an Italian meal, the bread is crucial.

We enjoyed our anniversary dinner here and everything about this place made our special occasion one we will remember and cherish. The service was first rate and everything that came to our table was a treat. This place has a top chef and staff and it shows up in spades. We ordered the shrimp sampler and had four fabulous versions of fresh shrimp done to perfection and with four different sauces that complemented the preparation wonderfully. The breading couldn’t have been better. Next we had a combo fajita that came out on a sizzling platter. Great presentation for a fabulous combination of so many great flavors. Our meal was topped off with the most chocolaty tasting cake I have ever had. Super rich and yummy. I realize I am raving about this place but it’s really that good!!!

I found this gem on Find me gluten free app. I have celiac disease/gluten allergy. The vibe was great and the food was delicious . Please make sure you let them know you have an allergy . I asked the waiter about the things I could have and they guided me so well. I picked the Mickeys chicken with rice it was delicious as you can I finished it all . The best part was that chef mickey came and checked on us . Super great place for a very nice dinner
