Born in the Bahamas to Haitian parents, Ken and brother, the late Jude Pierre, opened their first Chef Creole restaurant on 77 St and NE 2nd Ave. 29 years ago this December. To date, he has established six more locations, including the Miami International Airport that opened in August 2018. His 7th addition is the Hardrock Stadium concession in Hollywood.
Traditional Bahamian & Creole dishes from oxtail to beans & rice served in a festive environment.

Decided to visit Chef Creole on 54th street after reading a couple reviews and seeing pictures of the food online. The ambiance is very relaxing and inviting. It’s like we’re sitting on the beach in Haiti, instead of the middle of town. Our server was Teeday, he did an awesome job with giving us information on each dish and also gave his recommendations. Top notch service from him. Food came out and I almost forgot to take a picture because it looked and smelled soooo good! Teeday also gave us some pikliz to eat with our food. It has a little spicy but compliments the dishes to a T! We will be back to enjoy more delicious Haitian food. Come down and see Teeday at 54th street location!

So refreshing to go here. Now here is a place you have to go because it does everything right. First off, they have a unique drive through system that does not feel like you’re in a cheap fast food spot, but it gives you a beautiful Caribbean familial vibe. If you want to stay, they have great parking access and two beautiful outdoor seating area. One is on sand the other has a hut vibe. Service is phenomenal. However I would go back just for the conch fritters (my favorite). Food so good. Must stop by place every time.

Does anybody remember that brown cat that used to beg for food in the outside dining area? He was there for forever & he was really sweet but he was dirty and greasy, he stunk, and he was getting to be very sick. Well that cat lives in my house now. He got all the vet care he needed to get better, he’s chubby & happy, and every time I go to Chef Creole I bring him back a little fried fish.
Update: After 6 months of fostering he went to live with his forever family and LOOK AT HIM NOW! <3
Chef Creole is great. The food is great. The people are great. The atmosphere is great. It’s one of the best things about this amazing neighborhood.

Worth every single penny! I enjoyed the flavor of the Creole shrimp and the rice was very tasty. Also, I’m usually not a fried plantain fan but these were perfect! The biggest Snapper I have ever gotten from any restaurant! And it was so flavorful! The sauce and pikliz sent it over the top! I dont think I’ll order fried Snapper from anyone else ever! I can’t wait to spin the block and try more from the menu!
Do you like fried Snapper?

I kept hearing about Chef Creole being one of the best Haitian food restaurants so when I was visiting little Haiti I decided to go. The food was cooked to perfection and so flavorful . I had the fried shrimp, white rice, plantains, and bean soup. (Kribich fri, diri blan, bannann peze, ak soup pwa ) ♀️✨The line was wrapped around the building when my boyfriend and I got there. They had people coming up to the car to take orders to keep up with everybody. I would definitely go back when I’m in the area.

My husband and I had the pleasure of sitting, eating and enjoying the best seasoned and prepared conch , red snapper, plaintains, red beans n rice platter one could only wish for. The food here is absolutely amazing! Chef Creole is in a class of its own. My husband and I were personally greeted by Chef Creole, and left away with a divine and confirming holy message. May The Most High God continue to bless and keep you and your family Chef Creole❤️

Hands down one of my fave Haitian Caribbean eateries. The atmosphere gives island vibes and the food is fresh (you will have to wait but it’s worth it) love the oxtail, the fish and if you’re vegan get the Rasta plate. The soup joumou delicious on New Year’s Day! Highly recommend. Our run crew stopped by for a photo op with the Chef!

Great, fresh Creole food, and great hospitality. Reasonably priced. Shaded outdoor seating. Coldest beers you’re ever going to have. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

The lemon pepper wings isn’t really ‘Haitian food’ but those wings are good. The jerk wings were “yuck!” They weren’t good to me. The fried fish is good and for a decent price ($42) in today’s market. Its mainly a drive thru style not really for sitting in. Service is ok nothing good or bad. They get 4 stars for the overall prices and decent rice and food seems fresh
