Easily the best sushi in Cape Town. Makes Willoughby’s look like amateurs. Excellent, fast service. Sushi rice perfect taste, texture and temperature. Fish is so fresh. Extremely reasonably priced. We’ve been here 20 times at least and whenever we want a great foodie sushi experience we hit this place hard. Cannot recommend enough. You will not be disappointed.

Probably one of the best sushi places in CT. Discreet and small little sushi place, top floor of a shopping centre, but do not let looks fool you, what a pleasure to eat here. Chef is always so friendly, as are the staff.
Sushi slightly on the high end, but well worth it as ingredients are fresh and portions are generous. Best cucumber rolls.

Craving sushi and didn’t want to drive. I walked to The Point centre and went to Chef Chen. The sushi is so fresh and I love the prices. Obviously it’s inside a centre but I sat on the right side and it didn’t really bother me. I had the seared salmon California roll and it was so tasty and had a nice togaroshi spice on the outside of the fish. I also had the tuna maki but didn’t take a photo. The tuna was nice and fresh. Food came out fast and my waitress was so lovely. If you love fresh and well priced sushi go here. 200% better than Nuri

My wife and I just had sushi at Chef Chen’s restaurant, and the food was phenomenal. There is not a lot of seating, but I think the majority of business comes from delivery orders. But even on a Friday evening, we had no issues getting seats.
Sushi was fresh and tasted great. I particularly liked the Wasabi because it is obviously natural, as opposed to the artificially flavored ones you find at other sushi places. You’ll pay a little more than at other other sushi restaurants, but I think it is worth it. Do yourself a favor, and go support Chef Chen at Seapoint.

A very unassuming restaurant and humble chef. I don’t write reviews about restaurants I’ve been too, but this one deserves one. The sushi was amazing, fresh and definitely the best I’ve had in a while. A must try! I’ll be back!

Food served is shocking, falling apart. I mentioned this, however they didnt seem to take note of what i said. Walked Away while i was raising my concern. Use to be my favourite place, will NEVER recomend them again. Food was rushed when it was prepared, and the fact they think its okay.
I have supported this restaurant from the moment they opened there doors, until now. What i am angered upon is how the situation was dealt with, i just expected the 2 pieces to be replaced. Surely, not much to ask for, instead you dismissed me.

Lovely little sushi bar on the top floor of the shopping centre. The service was fast and friendly and the sushi so fresh and delicious. We also had the steamed chicken dumplings and found them so tasty and tender, if a little large for a single bite. For sure my new standard lunch/quick dinner sushi spot.
