What happened to this location? I know the mall was bought out a few years ago. We ordered 3 BBQ ribs light sauce. they were charred and heavy sauce. totally inedible. the spicy beef in broccoli was not spicy. the egg rolls were great. Rumor has it this place was sold. what a shame

Ordered vegetable lo mein + egg roll + honey garlic chicken. Everything was extremely fresh and well cooked! They give you large servings, especially for the price. The egg roll was a little salty but still good and crunchy. If you’re picking up an online order you have to call when you’re outside (which was a little confusing to figure out) Overall, great meal and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for some good chinese food in this area!

My favorite Chinese place. The best fried rice, egg rolls are incredible, their honey chicken and cashew chicken are amazing. My bf and I order from here anytime we get the craving for Chinese, theyre worth the drive at anytime in my perspective. Food is always hot and fresh, their in house sweet tea is perfect. Staff has always been super friendly!

It was pretty good, not great but in a pinch I’ll eat there again. Service was good. The shrimp in lobster sauce was good but they serve it with a tiny bit of rice. I had to eat the rest of the sauce like soup. And I had the dinner not the lunch special.

I have been a 10 year customer of Chef Chen. They delivered the single worst meals i have ever eaten from any Chinese restaurant. I should have known not to order a pad thai, but thought past meals were good, so i took a chance. BIG MISTAKE! The prevailing flavor was fish sauce. Horrible. The pan fried dumpling is supposed to be steamed, then pan seared on one side, they dropped them in the fryer, simply awful. As they do not know how to to issue a credit, I’m told that the next order they will give a credit. The problem with that, there will never be another order. 10 years of loyalty is flushed with a horrible meal and no ability to make good on it. Buyers beware.

We have lived in the delivery are of Chef Chen for the past 32 years. We would always place weekly orders as well as order from them when company would come. The food was always fresh and well seasoned.
HOWEVER, I think in the past couple of years they may have changed ownership of the restaurant. The quality of the food has gone downhill severely. We ordered three separate times for delivery just to give them the benefit of the doubt in case they may have had an “off” day.
No matter what dish we ordered, it all tasted the same – bland. Orders were inaccurate (we ordered extra dipping sauce for the fried dumplings and they forgot to send it twice) and one time we ordered honey wontons and what arrived were plain fried wontons with something similar to a thin, tasteless duck sauce on the side.
It’s really a shame because this area has few great Chinese restaurants. I would not recommend Chef Chen as I believe you will be disappointed.

I absolutely love this place!!! Their fried rice is so light and fluffy. My favorites dishes are Orange Chicken, Moo Goo Gai Pan and the Honey Garlic Chicken and of course the Wonton Soup. This is a family business and the people here have always made me feel part of their family. I love it.

This place used to have a good Chinese food, but apparently they change ownership and just went down the hill. Food is bad, expensive and small portion. Very sad, since I used to come here with my family for many years!
