Food was disappointing wouldn’t recommend. I ordered sweet-and-sour chicken, boneless spareribs, and pork fried rice. The sweet-and-sour chicken was bland, the pork fried rice was dry, and the boneless spareribs looked like scraps. We waited over 20 minutes, and I couldn’t even finish the meal. There were only three people working in the back an older woman who could barely move and a husband and wife. They were very nice, but unfortunately the food was no bueno. PS The homemade iced tea is not homemade iced tea.

Ordered the chicken mei fun and asked for it to come spicy (which normally it does, but I wanted to make sure since this is not my go to Chinese takeout place) the woman said “okay yes so curry sauce” I said ” ok if thats what makes it spicy”. It came bare. With no flavor and no color to it. Also ordered fried veggie dumplings, looked mostly steamed. Very disappointed and won’t be ordering from here again.

Really good Chinese food!! Everything was prepared fresh and hot. The noodles had a sweetness to them which I’ve never had in any Chinese restaurant before. The orange chicken had just enough spiciness to it without it being overpowering. Plus they gave me and my bf a LOT. I barely made a dent in mine and had to save for leftovers. Whatever spices they use/how they cook it they’re doing it right! The price came out to be $24 which is worth it with how much they gave. Took about 15-20 mins and he was cooking it fresh finishing up when I walked in. He was kind, told me I could get a soda if I wanted, no charge. Only con I would say is they don’t take credit/debit card. So be prepared to bring cash!

Something has changed at Chef Chan. Did not get the order right. Missing crab rangoon, not sure what the meat in the fried wontons is. Chicken was tough.

Hot and Sour Soup had strange little chunks of meet, crackers were stall, General Tso Chicken was rubbery & pork fried rice had chunks of pork fat. The restaurant itself had no AC and street parking was difficult.
Definitely not worth the 4 stars this place was reviewed at!

First time trying chef Chan. Just picked up dinner and it was fantastic. Great portion sizes which is hard to find in this area, the lo mein, spare ribs, and sweet and sour chicken were all delicious. Very kind staff. Will definitely be back!
