First time in a very long time I’ve had Trinidadian cuisine. Maybe like almost 20 yrs now that I think about it. Glad I got a chance to visit this spot. I had the pleasure of meeting The Chef/Owner herself in the flesh Carolyn, she was a gem to talk to about the food. She’s a hard worker with a family owned small business and a real passion for the food.
Love supporting local businesses.
The food was delicious.
We got there super late but they were able to accommodate our order.

I have been going here for awhile and the food has always been good and fresh. The last 2 times I went it seems that the food is not fresh. I got the oxtails and it seems like they were cooked before a day or two before and reheated. The meat even tasted different. Even the rice dis not taste fresh.
Since these last two experiences I havent been back since this happened twice in the same month.

Spotted this eatery ’ while driving and stopped by for a quick lunch. Thanks to Brielle for suggesting a pretty good meal. I ordered the loaded jerk chicken fries which wasn’t too spicy and I enjoyed it. This place has a toned-down feel to it, it is relaxed, and has good music playing too. Good eats!

I love the food from the protein to the veggies it’s all flavorful. Jerk chicken isn’t as spicy as other places around. They fill your box full of food. They might not be open when they say they are on Google sometimes.

Stopped for some jerk chicken, carib rice, cabbage, and plantains. FOOD IS ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS. every single bite had a little bit different taste but it was all perfect. YUMM, we will bd coming back. the owner is the coolest lady ever, made us feel like family. DONT HESITATE, get you some! after irie closed, it’s hard finding my new carib food spot. i found it here. although, i ate it too fast and didn’t get a picture
