We went to Chef 21 for dinner and we had a fantastic experience! My fiancée and I ordered a pot of tea to start, which was great on a cold rainy evening. We each ordered 2 plates of dim sum: she ordered gan lai and the crystal shrimp dumplings, and I ordered the BBQ pork buns and the Sichuan hot oil dumplings.
It’s almost impossible to pick a favorite – they were all so good! The dumplings were stuffed with filling, the buns were so soft and flavorful, and the gan lai was a fantastic vegetable to enjoy with our dim sum. The best part – it was reasonably priced. We paid less than $50 before tip for a full table of food and tea. If you’re looking for a dim sum place, this should be your first stop. We can’t wait to come back and try the sushi and a sushi burger!

This was our first time visiting. Everything was great about our experience. We didn’t have much time to do a full Korean BBQ experience so we settled for the spicy miso ramen with ribeye. Ordered the Brussels sprouts to start. Some of tbe better balsamic brussels we have had to date. delicious and flavorful food. We sat at the fun little couches. We really enjoyed the vibe and service here. We will definitely be back to experience more of what is offered.

The family decided to try a new sushi place. My son had the ramen bowl and we had the lover boat with a Philly Role for the daughter. The wife and daughter split pork bao bun. I had watermelon sake and the wife had a drink called no muggle no problem. (Harry Potter thing) All was delicious. The sashimi was cut thick.

My husband ordered a stir fried noodle plate that was really good.
I ordered the sushi hamburger and you best believe it was amazing. I ordered some white sauce and it was the cherry on top of the cake ! Amazing!! We would definitely come back in the future but it was so good. The drinks were good as well.

Ordered Uber Eats from this place. The Spicy Miso ramen I ordered was amazing! It was well packaged for delivery and came with the perfect temperature (not too hot but not room temperature either). The Spicy Miso was on the spicier side but it was a tolerable spice. They did not skimp on the fixings that come with the ramen either. There was at least 4 pieces of char siu and 4 pieces of fish cake (most places give you 2 of each) and a half slice of the soft boiled egg. I’d love to eat-in at this place should I venture out to Greenville again.

I absolutely LOVE this place, wich I describe as “upscale whimsical”. Truly one of a kind. The food is delicious, and a great price for the quality and quantity.
You can tell the owner poured her heart into creating an awesome unique restaurant, from the menu to the layout of the space. One of my favorite places to take friends and family for birthdays!

Happy that they were open on a major holiday. The place was packed so the service was a bit slow but the staff were very apologetic and polite. Their food exceeded my expectations. I tried some of their veggie rolls. Highly recommend the Lucky Clover roll for all the sweet potato lovers. The space was super cute with lots of art wall and neon color decorations.

I’m honestly really disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I ordered the bulgogi, expecting a flavorful, well-marinated dish, but what came out was far from it. The meat looked dry and overcooked, you’d expect from proper bulgogi.
The side dishes didn’t make up for it either — everything felt underwhelming and poorly prepared. For the price, I expected much better quality and authenticity.
Unfortunately, this visit was a letdown, and I wouldn’t order the bulgogi here again.

The Dim Sum dishes were just so-so. I was disappointed because I love Dim Sum and this is the only place around I have found it.
However! We loved their sushi, drinks and service. I look forward to try more dishes.

Great food and atmosphere! Excellent option is you want sushi or Korean barbecue. We got the Holy Cow. You won’t go home hungry. Our service was top notch. Lerena was amazing!
