This place is a MUST visit if ever in Oklahoma City. Is a hidden gem in the city and I promise you will not regret it. I must say that the Chicken fried steak was amazing on the fried side but the steak really lack volume. It was more fried than steak which it can be disappointing. The molases chicken breast on the other side, was AMAZING. I don’t have enough words to describe how exquisite it was. Overall, this gem is unique and magic place that every visitor should visit.

My coworker stopped here the last time he was in town, and recommended we go here for lunch today, and I’m glad he did!

Our server was great and very helpful and professional. I think his name was Jesse – very friendly and on top of refills and keeping an eye on us, but not overbearing.

He recommended the chicken fried steak, which really hit the spot. Big plate, tons of food and full of flavor.

The bread was incredible as well. The butter that comes with it really took it to the next level and I’m sad I got full and couldn’t eat any more of it.

The vibe was great too. Everything about Cheever’s was great. We sat inside, but the patio looked really nice and charming as well.

My coworker for the French dip and said it was really great as well. We both enjoyed our meals and were glad we stopped in.

We were driving through OK City. Googled restaurants, Chose Cheever’s. Not disappointed!! Nice ambiance. Excellent staff. We were blessed to have Jesse as our server. He gave great food choice recommendations. We would definitely eat here again. It was a very good experience.

I’m usually not one to review but my experience was so great, I can’t pass it up this time.
I don’t even know where to start.
The food was beyond words!!
Our waiter Kevin was wonderful, attentive, knowledgeable about the menu items and specials. He was just overall excellent and kind.
The manager Stacy was beyond stars ratings!
She creates a space rare for employees anymore. She sets the pace for her team by being a part of it.
Visible and helpful and out and interacting with customers. She checked on us several times!
She treated my best friend and I to a delicious dessert for my friends birthday and it was delicious! Top tier experience.
The atmosphere was perfect. Clean, great smells, not too loud, and lighting was enjoyable.
I really cannot say enough positive things about my new favorite place in Tulsa!

Our dinner at Cheevers was delicious and the service was excellent. Anri was or server and took the best care of us. I had one of the chef’s special and Clint had their signature chicken fried steak. We especially enjoyed the rosemary dinner rolls. There was a mishap with our order but it was communicated with us so even though there was a delay it wasn’t inconvenient or uncomfortable. Great date night dinner before a Christmas concert at the nearby Tower Theatre.

Ordered the chicken fried steak with a side of green beans and the medium rare ribeye steak.

The chicken fried steak had a nice crunch and flavor without it being over peppered like it commonly is. Green beans had some balsamic sauce that wasn’t good and the weren’t seasoned very well. Salt and pepper was needed.

As for the ribeye it was cooked as it was ordered and good flavor. I really couldn’t make out the flavor profile. I typically have a1 sauce with mine but they don’t keep any on site. However, the server went back and asked the chef to whip up something and they made me one from scratch. Would recommend the sauce. Only issues with the steak was the redwine sauce. Added a bland kind of tart taste? Either way I wouldn’t recommend dipping the steak in it to get more flavor. Mashed potatoes are made from scratch and well buttered would recommend. Rolls are good. Butter comes with some brown sugar? On top. Bread is delicious

Service was good but it’s a little cramped where we were so keep that in mind

When I die, if this food is not served in my final resting place I will know I have been dawned to hell. Everything about this establishment is heavenly. Huge portions, hands down the best food I have ever eaten anywhere. Trust me I am fat and absolute love to eat food, lots of food, from a lot of places. Honestly I would probably drive 6.5 hours just to eat here.

Treated my adult son here for lunch for his birthday. He had ribeye and mashed potatoes. Excellent! I had salmon and did not care for the sauce that comes on it. The iced tea is outstanding. The carrot cake is the best I’ve ever had. Parking is not ideal for 1 ton crew cab dually. Service was OUTSTANDING.

Cheever’s never disappoints, but today it was exceptional! We went for brunch and it was one of the best experiences we have ever had at any restaurant anywhere all because of the service we received from Arni! Don’t get me wrong the food was outstanding and I will get to that in a minute. First, I want to talk about Arni. That guy is a Master at his craft! If you have read the reviews for Cheevers, you will see many mention him and everything wonderful that has been said about him is true. Right from the start, he was so personable and welcoming. He explained the specials and even mentioned a Crab Cake app that wasnt on the menu, but was available for preparation. He spent considerable time helping me choose something other than the chicken fried steak which is always my go to there. We spent time getting to know about his heritage and he was genuinely so appreciative upon finding out that my husband’s military unit helped support his country. He was attentive without being intrusive and seemed genuinely invested in us enjoying our meal. Please ask for Arni when you go! Now,the food! Of course we couldn’t pass on the crab cake! So full of lump crab with a flavor profile that was out of this world and perfectly cooked! The Chicken Fried steak with 2 perfectly cooked over easy eggs added on top and breakfast potatoes is a staple there and NEVER disappoints! On Arni’s suggestion I ventured away from that and tried the shrimp and grits with extra shrimp and holy cow it was a flavor explosion in your mouth! Perfectly cooked bacon wrapped shrimps sitting top of creamy well thought out seasoned grits with a little sprinkle of fresh grated cheese and drizzled with a sauce I can’t describe, but could drink! This is by far the longest review I have ever written but we’ll worth it! Way to go CHEEVERS, you deserve it and from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU ARNI for an amazing experience ❤️

We were spending 2 nights in OKC and chose to dine here for dinner one night after reading the reviews. The service was exceptional. The food was ok. We ordered a starter of the bleu cheese potato chips followed by the tortilla crusted halibut. These are dishes that sound unique and for that reason enticing. In my opinion, they don’t really work. Neither was bad, but nor did they stand out or be memorable. The tortilla “crusted” halibut was not such much crusted but rather topped with tortilla chips. It was also somewhat overcooked and the accompanying spicy shrimp risotto was overly salty. The chips were not great in my honest opinion. This is not a bad restaurant but it is expensive for the quality of the dishes. Perhaps other choices on the menu would prove better.
