I would recommend this place and come back, oh I didn’t even say anything about the FRIES!!! Enough seasoning on there and so fresh!

I just finished eating and I am SATISFIED. I had the foot long peppered cheesesteak with a side of fries and everything was great. The food, the service 10 out of 10. Highly recommended checking it out if you haven’t already. I need to come back and try the other options.

I’ve been wanting to find a place like this since I moved to Dallas. In the Midwest there’s a chain called Pepperjax and I was devastated to learn its not here. For 3.5 years I’ve been thinking about how much I want a good Philly, and this DELIVERED. Everything I could ever want. Delicious. Will be back soon.

MAJORLY disappointed! One of my FAVORITE spots has most DEFINITELY fallen from grace!!!! If I can take a photo of this sandwich I will. But I have NEVER seen a philly cheesesteak THIS BARE!!! She tried to tell me it was because of the way the meat was chopped but BS!! This AIN’T my first visit. This feels like a bread sandwich. I am SOOO disappointed!! Even MORESO because I had JUST bragged on this place to a friend!!! I am SOO EMBARRASSED and I HOPE he doesn’t come here. It’s obvious the quality of the food has DECLINED DRASTICALLY in just a matter of MONTHS. The young lady at the front counter was DELIGHTFUL!!! She seems to be THE ONLY thing they got goin for them. Because the sandwich?? ALL BREAD!!! The atmosphere? Feels like the A/C is on the fritz. Sooo unfortunate that I won’t be able to treat myself here anymore. We had HISTORY. 🙁

The food was good. The price… well I feel like the price could have been better. I paid 17.00 for a footlong cheesesteak. I paid extra for added bell peppers that I thought would have came with the sandwich. And also paid extra to make it a combo which that is understandable. The sandwich was filling, a bit messy but in a good way. Bread could have been toasted a bit longer to get a crunchy bite instead of a soggy bite. Ill give it another try sometime in the future when I have $20 to spend on a sandwich. The environment was calm and lonely. Lights were dim. Staff was helpful. I paid extra to use my debit card which is weird to me.. bring cash if you have it.

Young man in the front with the puffy hair, had a good attitude and was very nice. The food was ok but the only thing that would make me come back is his service and attitude.

03/07/2021: After I watched an online video for the best Philadelphia cheesesteaks and drooling over what I saw, I was craving a cheesesteak really bad and wishing I was in Philly. I convinced the SO (significant other) to get a cheesesteak for dinner and he agreed without any hesitation. Cheesesteaks are in his wheelhouse being from the mid-Atlantic area and he knows his cheesesteaks.

Did some googling and found the Cheesesteak House. We have had Charley’s before and it’s ok for what it is, but it’s not the real deal Philly cheesesteak. I went to go pick up the food for us and I’m glad I did. Juan was the employee I interacted with tonight and he was a GEM!!! Juan answered all my questions about what the best thing to get, what specials there were, how’s the queso, what’s American Swiss cheese, what’s Joel’s special sauce, etc. Good thing I was the only customer with all of my questions. Juan was patient and so friendly. I ordered a large beef cheesesteak, a large beef cheezy cheesesteak, large fries, onion rings, and a large queso. My food came out within 5 minutes and Juan let me pick from the selection of their sauces to take home to try out. I got some ranch, Joel’s special sauce, and the mayotle.

I then went home to share the feast with the SO and it was pretty darn good. I got a thumb’s up for his cheesesteak and I liked my cheezy cheesesteak. It was way too big to eat at once. My stomach and eyes were too big when I ordered my cheesesteak, so I only had half. If you like lots of cheese, then this is the cheesesteak for you. The rolls for the cheesesteaks were soft and had a little chew to them. The meat and onions were also cooked well. The potion was huge and a great value for the price. There was no skimping on the beef. We both liked the fries. They were fresh, crispy, crunchy, and not too thin. We don’t like thin fries. The onion rings were ok in my opinion. SO liked them. The ranch was yum as well. My favorite sauce was the mayotle, which was chipotle mayo. It had a nice kick to it. SO favorite was Joel’s special sauce, which I think Juan said is ketchup, yellow mustard, and pickled banana pepper juice. We forgot to try the large queso we got, but I already had some in my cheesesteak and it was mighty delicious.

According to the SO, Cheesesteak House will be on the to go food rotation in our house. It’s really GOOD!! See you soon, Juan!!! I’ll be back to get me some cheesesteaks!!! Yum!!!!
