I have been going to Cheers a few times a month for Karaoke. The KJ, Jordan is tops! Always professional and friendly.
The bartenders and cooks are fabulous and the food.. YUM! I had the Eggplant Parmesan by chance and was blown away by the taste! In prior days I have tried the lobster lasagna.. can I say, lip smacking? Sometime soon I will grab some blackened salmon because I saw someone had it on their plate and it looks amazing.
I have brought friends in and we all agree that the place has wonderful atmosphere.

I had the leg of lamb, my wife had the vegetarian lasagna. For me cheers Chico is like an upscale pub. The food was really good although not outstanding. The service was gracious although painfully slow.
Dinner with drinks including tip 85.00 is very reasonable. Would I go back…. Probably

I recently visited Cheers in Chico, California, and was impressed by its spacious interior with plenty of comfortable booth seating for private conversations. The professionally dressed staff are incredibly friendly, and the bartender’s expertise in crafting drinks adds a special touch. The late-night menu offers a variety of options like onion rings, fried zucchini, and french fries for around $5, pulled pork tacos for $11, veggie tacos for about $9, and steak and eggs for $29. Beers range from $5 to $8, while cocktails and mixed drinks are $9 to $19. It’s a place that caters to all ages, where ‘everyone knows your name.’ If you’re looking for a friendly, cozy spot with great food and a welcoming vibe, Cheers is the place to be!

As we walked past Chico Cheers, the enticing menu displayed at the entrance caught our attention. Upon entering, we were warmly welcomed by the owner, David, who guided us to a cozy booth and shared insights about the restaurant’s culinary offerings. Our server, Ginny, was equally charming. I opted for the leg of lamb, which was accompanied by flavorful vegetables and saffron rice. My wife chose a few items from the appetizer section, including a pickled deviled egg that she declared the best she had ever tasted! Overall, the food was outstanding, and the service was top-notch, making for a delightful dining experience. We can’t wait to visit again soon!

Great reboot!!! From the Cheers name, cocktails and beer to solid upscale bar food, special and unique events, Cheers is a great addition to downtown chico.

Owner and maître d are always on hand hustling, and while I’ve read of long waits for food, I haven’t experienced that personally.

Give it a shot!

Came by when a menu change was going on and certain food items were not available. The service was great, but it was short staffed and took longer. Love the look and feel. Will go again when better established

New Bar/Bites downtown, the menu looked affordable, and there’s a separate late night menu. Seems more upscale than other bars on Main St, I would compare it to Argus but with their own kitchen. Staff was friendly and prompt, I paid $7 for a Ramble West brew. There’s a very large drop-down projector screen that’s in front of the bookshelf pictured for all your game day viewing needs.

Disappointment is an understatement. We went out for a birthday meal at a new plaFour staff behind the bar and we were ignored. We had to get their attention to order our drinks, also our appetizer, because they we’re too busy chatting with each other. Took far too long to get our small plate, which was served on a saucer. Too salty and mediocre sauce. We decided to go somewhere else.

Appears to be nothing like the TV show bar. Seems a bit snobbish. Menu is more expensive than it should be. Guess it wasn’t my cup of tea. That probably cost to much as well. Nice looking place but you just don’t feel that place you wanna hang out again vibe. Server was a nice person.
