Don’t come here if you think what you see on the web menu sounds good because they won’t have it. We came here for certain things to find out it’s been years since they served it. Uh update Google and the menu online. If you want a side it doesn’t come with the sandwiches like it says. The prices are also wrong. First time here and the last. Only good thing was our waitress. It’s her 3rd day here and she has been amazing and learning as well with all our questions and whys.

Just had the worst experience in a long time!! We ordered an appetizer of giant stuffed tater tots. They were still cold in the center. The waitress took them back and whoever is cooking literally put what sent back into the fryer including the one that had a bite taken out.
We then ordered our meals. Matt got a sandwich and steak fries. I got country fried steak, mash taters, and green beans. Matt’s fries were way under cook to the point they were like fresh cut dipped in oil. My mash potatoes were cold and tasted like straight plaster!
Now both of us are the type to let them know so it doesn’t happen to someone else but we couldn’t let the refrying of a bitten tater tots go! Not to mention we were the only ones there to eat!

Atmosphere was awesome took a friend there was about an hour and we had fun
Ordered fried pickles which were ok at best
Also ordered the beaded tenderloin and while it was thick and juicy the breading needed some love shown to it in the way of seasonings

Great experience. Bartender was working solo but still managed to get our order, change out legs, clean and work on closing duties. Had beer and queso fries, food was good, pretty standard bar fare. Looking forward to visiting again. Nice atmosphere, definitely a fitting name for this friendly hometown bar.

In response to the young lady that was turned away at the door. Our bartender did as they were supposed to in a situation where. The picture on said id did not look like the person holding the id. And as a bartender if the person looks under 40 then we are supposed to card the person. And the person has to have a valid photo id …not a credit card which was given with a name on it…not anything else with out a photo on it sorry that you were turned away because the bartender had questions on the photo not looking like you …or the fact that it was out of state
