I’ve eaten here a couple of times. Don’t underestimate this little hole in the wall, because it’s really good! I enjoyed the party melt and my husband got the homemade vegetable soup with grilled cheese. The prices are very affordable and the waitress was attentive.

I stop here for lunch on my route several times. Do have some room for a few trucks but not much. The waitresses are always super nice and fairly quick for a busy lunch time. They always have different specials for each day of the week. They do have a decently vast menu from breakfast to lunch and dinner. I have had burgers, tenders, fries, grilled chicken wraps, and a grilled chicken salad. Prices are pretty reasonable as well. Only reason I have given less that 5 stars ok atmosphere is because usually there is some loud mouth people that just come and stand around in the store part and talk and be obnoxiously loud and cuss out loud to the fact everyone in the restaurant can hear it.
Update! Had the cheese burger steak with green beans and a side salad! Absolutely phenomenal! Love stopping here for lunch!

Great spot for breakfast or lunch. The food is great, service outstanding and a great, local, atmosphere. Unpretentious, comfortable, and down to earth. Our favorite place for breakfast in the Lenoir / Happy Valley area. 🙂

For the price. This was NOT worth it. Menu is very non descriptive. Prices are not clearly listed, causing confusion. Have ate here for years, our server is wonderful. She’s worked there for ever. I get food prices going up but I would personally not recommended eating here in the current environment. Definitely better worth elsewhere.

Stop there for gas a lot coming up & down the mountain. Never eaten there. Food looked good from what I saw on the tables. So, ordered hot dogs all the way for pick up. Very little chili & slaw, but both were on the bottom of the bun & the hot dog was placed on top of the chili & slaw. I’ve never seen that before, seemed a little odd. Makes the bun very soggy. Anyway, probably won’t order hot dogs there again, maybe give them a try for something else sometime.
