We have been going to cheeks regularly for many years, but felt like it fell off in terms of quality and consistency the last 2-3 years and slowly stopped going. We saw that there was a new owner and wanted to give them another chance, especially after seeing that it’s family owned and they gave back to the community when snap benefits were temporarily cut. We were very excited to see that Hasseb has taken this very seriously – the store is updated, bright and clean and the menu has been revamped. Mostly importantly, the quality, fresh, and consistent food is back. We got the 3 tenders + waffle meal (tossed in Carolina reaper and sweet chili thai sauce) and fries. Our dinner was great and we will definitely be back! I highly recommend giving this small business a try.

I decided to give cheeks another chance since I’ve heard great things about the new owner. It was a great experience. The food as always was great I had a western chicken sandwich and the hash fries. Everything was freshly made and delicious. While waiting on my order I had the privilege of having a great conversation with the owner that took over almost 2 years ago. He was so friendly and hes done so much for the manchester community. I will definitely be going back more regularly.

Great food. Nice service. The restaurant is very modern and more accommodating than the previous owner. My dad and I had placed a take out order and it was ready when I arrived. We were very happy with the service. We thought the chicken was very moist and just the right crisp. Very impressed and very consistent product the next several times around. We also liked the free brownie with the first order!! Keep up the good work Cheeks!!!

I ordered buffalo and honey bbq wings for the first time from here. They were absolutely amazing!!!! So fresh and the size of the wings were huge. Much better than other places. Definitely recommend, will purchase more food from here in the future.

I genuinely enjoy the food here — the flavor is always on point and the chicken is perfectly tender. That’s actually why it’s frustrating that I don’t order more often.
There are two main issues that hold me back.
First, while the waffle tastes great, it’s extremely small compared to other Belgian waffle spots in the area serving the same dish. On top of that, the price is significantly higher than similar places nearby, which makes it hard to justify.
Second, there’s no option for a smaller, more balanced chicken and waffle combo. The only available option is around $17 and includes one small waffle with three very large tenders. The portion ratio feels off — both times I ordered, I ended up with two tenders left over. It just doesn’t feel designed for one person.
If there were an option for a larger waffle with one tender at a more average price point (around $12), I would honestly order from here all the time. The quality is there — it’s just the portion balance and pricing that make it difficult to come back regularly.

I sent my husband to pick up the chicken with Mac & Cheese tray as a result of all the rave reviews we heard about it, and it did not disappoint!! So much chicken nestled into cheesy, creamy, goodness!
Highly recommend this dish, plus the waffles and seasoned fries we got here, all were excellent.

So I did try Cheeks for the 1st time today. Breaded zucchini was amazing, as well as the wings, and mac n cheese. The star was the peppercorn chicken sandwich!!! It was delicious . Thank you for the brownie. Can’t wait to try the breakfast, and corn fritters. We will definitely be coming back. Great customer service, awesome community activism, and food. Love supporting a family owned small business. Thank you!
