So happy to have finally visited! Chee-bog has freshly prepared flavorful filipino food. They have a limited set of options but some thing to please everyone, and dishes are made to order.

The lumpia were crispy and the chicken adobo was super tender. Everything was well seasoned, we got the dishes with garlic rice.

There are a few seats inside, and I love the fresh interior with a vibrant mural, bright colors, and the stainless steel open kitchen.

Service was very friendly and reasonably quick, though this is not “fast food”

Amazing food as always especially the lechon kawali and lumpia!!!! My cravings were definitely satisfied, and the drive was absolutely worth it. The prices are reasonable considering how delicious everything is. The staff is very friendly and approachable, which adds to the overall experience.

There is usually about a 20-minute wait for the food, and the space is quite small, but I genuinely hope they’re able to expand in the future because they deserve it. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would gladly recommend this place to everyone.

I chose this place for our quick stop from Vermont and it didn’t disappoint. The food tasted legit and I actually finished the fried rice despite the hefty portion. The owner (I’m assuming) was friendly and seemed passionate about his food. I wish this was closer to NYC so we could come back but regardless, this place deserves a five star. Wishing you guys continued success!

We ordered the inihaw na baboy (grilled pork) and longsilog (with picture attached) and both were equally as delicious.

God bless Champ for bringing authentic Phillipino fresh dishes to Cohoes Ny. Clean and immaculate to eat in or dine out. Hands down my restaurant to eat at twice a week…

Amazing experience here with the kamayan feast that was prepared with love by Chef Champ!

When we arrived, the table was all set. Chef Champ greeted us and learned each guest’s name and showed us how to properly grab the food for kamayan.

We were encouraged to grab a drink from the fridge, and I had the calamansi. We feasted on chicken lumpia with Thai chili sauce, lechon with garlic vinegar, chicken inasal, sweet and sour snapper with rice, 3 types of sauces and fruit. And as a dessert, we had beautifully prepared halo halo.

After the meal, Chef Champ explained the hand painted wall and the inspiration for the design. This was such a wonderful and cozy experience. I wish I lived closer to Troy so I could visit again soon!

My fiancé spoke about this place sometime ago, but we never got the chance to go. But since then, we make it a priority to get food from them at least a couple times a month. Great dishes, but very flavorful and worth every penny.

Long story short – Amazing food! Would recommend and 100% coming back

I usually never go for Bicol Express because I find other places make it not that flavorful and creamy. But that was the complete opposite here! I was also intrigued that they made it a seafood Bicol express, that’s the main reason why I wanted to try it. And I’m glad I did! It was my favorite dish! I loved it so much I tried to make my own at home (wasn’t as good so I’m just gonna have to come back)

We also got the BBQ chicken which was sooo flavorful. We really liked the sauce for it. We got the Inihaw pork which was perfect grilled. The Bangsilog was a 10/10 and the lumpia was so well cooked! Sometimes lumpia is not that crispy and we were nervous because we got it to go. But the lumpia had the perfect crunch when we bit into it.

I usually don’t got crazy for pancit but this was definitely the best I’ve tried! So much vegetables and meat. They definitely did not skimp out.

Lastly we got the Halo halo and cassava cake. The only regret was getting 1 of each because we had to share with 4 other people The Cassava cake was not too sweet (which is was we preferred) and crispy on the edges (our favorite part). The Halo halo had so many topping! Leche flan, nata de coco, jackfruit, beans, everything! Again they did not skimp out!

The best part was the food felt really clean and not too oily/greasy. Filipino food is usually like that but we were able to have multiple rounds without feeling too weighed down.

The owner, Champ, and his team Nick and Gabe were so welcoming and friendly. We really loved the environment.

We shared two meals with three people and had leftovers. The Olympia was crispy and light. The Chee Bog chicken was very tasty and plentiful. Definitely will return soon..Chef has a great sense of seasoning.

Absolutely delicious Filipino food. I got the Lechon, the Lumpia, and the Inihaw baboy, and it was all delicious. Authentic, masarap, and friendly service. The only problem is that they’re not open more often!

Ordered ahead of time through their website, which was easy and convenient. When I picked up the food, it smelled so good that it was torture driving back without consuming some. I also picked up some pandesal that was tasty. If it’s available, I would suggest the Lechon Kawali or the Bicol Express; both as filling and so good. Great Filipino food!
