Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen in San Antonio offers a pleasant dining experience overall, with good food and efficient service . We were initially told the waiting time would be around 30 minutes ⏳, but we were pleasantly surprised when we were seated within 20 minutes, which was a nice start to our visit .
We tried several dishes during our visit. The honey butter croissants were outstanding—fresh, hot, soft, and absolutely delicious. They were easily one of the highlights of the meal. The grilled chicken Alfredo was another excellent choice; it was fresh, creamy, and very tasty. The Wisconsin cheese bites were decent but fairly regular, similar to what you find at many other places.
For dessert, we ordered the hot fudge cake sundae . The taste was excellent, but it was served cooler than expected. It would have been much better if it were warm. We asked the staff to reheat it, and although they agreed, there wasn’t much difference. We ended up taking it to-go and reheating it at home, where it tasted amazing. The buffalo wrappers , however, were not that great and didn’t stand out.

We had never been here. So we wanted to give it a try. We went with our entire family to celebrate our son’s 30th birthday. I called at noon to do a call ahead for 4pm. When we arrived our table wasn’t ready and I kept being told that they were cleaning the floor. 20 mins later I asked if our table was ready and the guy looked at me and said they are still cleaning under the table. So my husband decided to follow him and see if thats was true and it wasn’t nobody was at our table cleaning anything. Then we get seated and the waitress we get by the name of Anna was an absolute joke. She was all over the place. She takes our drink order and appetizers. Then walks away not even 5mins later a manager walks up introduces himself and says I’m sorry but we are switching your waitress Anna to a different waiter because she had an emergency and had to leave. Well the table behind us gets seated and guess who’s taking there order? ANNA! So obviously that was a lie. The second waiter we got was really good I’m not gonna lie. He was so much better then her. The food was very food and the prices were very reasonable. Just very disappointed in the service and being lied to and having to wait that long for our table even though I did a call ahead. So sure if we will be back

I usually don’t leave reviews however this one warranted! I stopped by for lunch/dinner really happy hour and Jacob was my serve at the bar. Legit!!!!! The food was excellent, the drinks Jacobs made (Texas sweet Tea and pineapple mule) were excellent! My first time tasting both of these based on his recommendation. Lastly, to top it off the staff were able to make me my favorite dish from cheddars ( Cajun Chicken Bowl). I love this location, it’s always clean, and I will be back! Great job!

Raivun was awesome with service. The spinach do was good . My salmon and shrimp dinner was great as was my string beans and red beans and rice. However, my wife’s pork chops were very tough but her broccoli and carrots were good. I’d still recommend this restaurant for now.

I’m giving this a 5 star review to their curbside/togo orders. Recently they begin providing delivery as an option and I have to say I could not be happier. Not only is the food good and affordable, but I do not have to wait to have my fixing of Cheddar’s until I’m ready to go out and eat. Because of delivery I have the comfort of being able to try different items on the menu and in the comforts of my home. The curbside/togo employees and maangers always make sure that my order is correct even down to the instructions provided when ordering. And the few times that my order was not perfected, they made up for it with a quick compensation. The managers take ownership in their mistakes and strive to correct it for a better expreience. I strongly believe when employees and management come together and take pride and ownership in their jobs, it just makes the experience and food overall that much better whether dining at the restaurant or at home. Thank you all at the I-10 West North San Antonio location. Keep up the good work and I’ll be ordering again soon!

I came with my husband and Mother-in-law, and it was a great experience. The staff was friendly and the food and drinks were awesome! I tried their limited time items and you should definitely try them before they get phased out!! I had the Watermelon Vodkarita and Spasasgna (spaghetti + lasagna). The drink was so good, I finished the first before my food came in and I ordered another one as soon as my food came in.
