The server seemed to be the only one working the entire bar area including behind the bar making drinks. Her service was about as good as it could be considering she was solo. Drink was a bit too much I didnt finish it or my food so I had to leave $8 on the table

My wife and I went to this location today for lunch around the time they opened. We both went to the restroom first, and thank goodness we did. Both restrooms were a mess. There was grime and hair on the toilets and urinal, and one of the sinks had some sort of black/green creature growing on it. When we walked out of the restroom we noticed finger smears all over one of the booth windows. If it was the end of the night this would be more understandable, but the fact that the restaurant had just opened shows it was not properly cleaned. We didn’t want to know what the kitchen looked like, so we decided to go elsewhere. Wouldn’t recommend eating here until they learn how to clean the restaurant.

Really enjoyed my visit here! We were seated quickly, and our server was super friendly and helpful. The food choices are plentiful, and everything we tried was delicious. I actually got full just from the salad and spinach dip and ended up taking my main meal home! The prices are great, the atmosphere is clean and welcoming, and it’s just a really comfortable spot to enjoy a meal. Perfect for grabbing lunch with friends, a casual dinner, or even just a quick bite. Can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu.

This was my first time ever to visit and find at a Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen. We arrived as the restaurant opened for business for the day. We were promptly greeted and seated a a both. Our server was Ms. Shamekia, with a bubbly personality and warm smile. She served out drinks and took our order and served us honey butter croissants. We had the chips and chips $9.49 and Dijon chicken and mushrooms on a bed of rice with two sides, $14.79. The food was very tasty and good size portions. So overall I had good experience for my first time visit. I will be back again. Hope to see you there.

Service was great, even though it was a just a pick up order but do they rinse the ribs off before planting them because where is the sauce?! So disappointing. There’s an option for $0.50/extra sauce, I wonder what that looks like. Lost an hour of my life for WHACK ribs….

I am really big on Customer Service. The experience at the location on LBJ Freeway was very disappointing. Let’s begin with the wait. Our information was put in incorrectly by the hostess, so therefore we were waiting for an excessive period of time as we watch people coming in after us be seated secondly, we were set at a dirty table and then the food was horrible. The salmon was overcooked and they redo order wasn’t any better because I was given a bite-size piece of salmon. After speaking with the manager, she offered free queso wow like I’m really coming back to this restaurant.. oh, I forgot about the 15% discount. Are you kidding me? Look at these pictures and tell me would you eat this?? Keep in mind, I took one small bite of the first salmon entrée and realized it was charged hard and dry. In return, I get a bite-size portion of salmon. This is ridiculous. Keep in mind, the chart salmon they had it turned over where it wasn’t noticeable, but the bite was horrifying. I gave them a full size piece of salmon that was chard and an edible and then return I was giving a child proportion piece of salmon.

Although the food at this location is/was “ok”, the place itself is/was utterly disgusting and makes you NOT want to eat the food!
It’s dirty and nasty, try cleaning your tables and cleaning the floor around the tables before you sit your customers down to enjoy their meal; I mean, who wants to eat around dirty surroundings, maybe your manager, since that’s who should be making sure the place is nice and inviting.
I don’t even want to think on how the kitchen looks!
Our waitress, “Alisheya”, was very kind and attentive, props to her for doing such a great job.
She deserves a better place to work for!

I noticed this restaurant has a 3.7 rating, which almost deterred me, but my recent visit with my sisters suggests we were fortunate enough to go on an exceptional day. Our experience was truly wonderful, driven almost entirely by the phenomenal service we received.
Our server, James H, was simply amazing. He perfectly balanced professionalism with a warm, engaging personality that allowed him to connect with us. As someone with a background in customer service, I have high standards, and James exceeded every one of them. He was incredibly attentive without being intrusive; he anticipated our needs, ensuring fresh drinks were on the table right as we finished our first ones—a sign of genuine, proactive attention to detail that went unnoticed.
