Early dinner late after noon on a Wednesday and staff was still on point for the low numbers of patrons. Started filling up a bit as we left at 5:20.
Tried the onion rings and cheese bites appetizers along with chicken fried chicken, steak and tenders, and steak and shrimp entree’s. All were delicious and well portioned. Plenty of leftovers for the next days lunch.
Painkiller was an added treat along with chocolate cake and ice cream. Plenty of the desert for three to share!

I brought my family, extended family, and friend to eat for our yearly gathering. We ate at Cheddars last year and loved it so we came back.
It took an hour to get our food and we were told the reason was because the steaks were taking a long time and the other food was ready and all would be brought out together. I was concerned about this answer. The restaurant was at about 50% capacity.
All of the food was not hot and my 12 year old nephew took a bite from his hamburger and said the cheese was hard. I overheard him say “at least I have left over pizza at home”. The cheese was real cheese that felt like it was left out of the wrapper, on the counter overnight. I gave the burger to the waiter or I would have taken a picture of it, too. The two Cajun pasta dishes were lukewarm warm so they took it back and I’m not sure how they warmed it up but they were not hot and not in the least bit appetizing. The steaks were not hot and one was ordered med-well and it was pink. The other one was eaten because that person was starving.
We asked for the manager and the waiter came back to tell us we would be getting a 25.00 discount for the problems. I asked for the manager again and it took about 10 minutes for him to come to our table and didn’t introduce himself as the manager. I asked if he was the manager and he stated was a traveling manager. He said he would refund our drinks (maybe four mixed drinks) and we would get two desserts to share. REALLY?? Three meals out of ten meals were edible and I don’t think those people wanted to complain.
This is NOT what I expected out of Cheddars, a place I’ve always loved to dine at. I felt like the manager didn’t believe me when I told him about the issues and I am NOT one of these people who try to get free meals by complaining. I enjoy taking this gang out to eat when I visit and I can afford to do so. It is very upsetting that this was not an enjoyable experience. I only wish we had time to get everyone together again to go someplace nice to eat and enjoy one another’s company. I’m only here once a year.
The waiter was put in the middle and I tipped him good. I only hope that he will get better treatment, as well. He was put in the middle of a situation that should have been taken by the manager, who I originally asked for. Shame on you, Cheddars!

We don’t go out often and this place was what my son was craving. Well specifically the croissants. Which is why I’m uploading a pic of those. They were the saddest croissans I’ve ever seen. Also the chicken fry was less than good. Way too tough to cut and the breading didn’t stick at all to the meat.

I have been here 10 minutes a met some of the rudest wait staff. My daughter’s gf tried to get a table ahead of our arrival and was told to wait for a clean table in an empty restaurant. We arrived and stood at the counter for a minute but then the hostess said we needed to wait for a clean table. A couple minutes later came back told us to follow her and just dropped our menus on the table and kept walking. The waitress was short when we ordered but she must have realized we were not impressed. The food was fast but bland. The others liked theirs okay. But no croissants even offered and that’s what I came for

Placed an on-line order of chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes & gravy with corn and the croissants. The breading on the steak was crispy and tasty, but the steak itself had several gristles in it, making it almost unbearable to eat. Potatoes, gravy and corn were good. Croissants were the usual top notch. Sorry, but I won’t order the chicken fried steak in the future. Service delivery to the car was excellent the the staff very friendly. It wasn’t until we got home that we discovered the issues with the steak, otherwise we would have returned it if we had been dining in.

The chicken fried steak was amazing. They also had pretty good red beans and rice which is hard to find with it done right outside of certain areas. So good job. We even had teenagers and preteens and they enjoyed their meals as well. Overall it was a good place with good service and I didn’t feel like we waited an eternity for food. With a table of 6 we were in and out within about an hour. The only issue we ran into was the table pay system wasn’t working correctly and had to wait for server to come back to pay out.

The croissants were old and so stiff. They had to remake my babies food twice and still was not good. The grilled cheese as seen below was once not even cooked but had stale bread than the second time it was brought out was burnt and rock solid. I ordered a steak medium and of course it came out over cooked. The only reason why I’m giving this establishment a 2 star is because at least my mom liked her food and our waitress was nice

Dinner started off fine. Honey butter croissants are good and each person gets one for free. We ordered some more and waited 30 minutes for them When our waiter brought them he spilled raspberry tea all over our booth. Tea got all over the croissants that just came out. My boyfriend got the grilled chicken Alfredo and the tea got all over his garlic toast that he also waited 30 minutes for. Waiter immediately cleaned the floor but left tea all over our table and seats. We asked for extra napkins and probably waited 10 more minutes in a sticky mess. I waited forever for a water refill and ranch which I asked for right when the food got out. Manager came out to apologize to the table next to us but didn’t even say a word to us. Our check came back full price and no manager nor waiter offered to compensate our bill. Didn’t know dinner came with a free raspberry tea baptism. Probably not coming back.
