Although it was very busy since I waited over 30 minutes before getting a table for a group of 3, the food was reasonably priced for the large portion sizes. I wish the chicken fried steak was a bit more tender but it was fine. The mashed potatoes and the cole slaw were decent. The chocolate cake and ice cream was just as what I expected from a chain restaurant, which is no-frills and typical. The fries were well-seasoned and crispy.

Problem with our usual food order Saturday about 5 pm. My daughter and I come here special just to eat the Monte Cristo sandwiches. The waitress was very helpful. We were seated in the bar side if the kitchen facility is different.

I had a wonderful experience at Cheddar’s thanks to Jacob! He was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive throughout our visit. He made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed without being overbearing. Jacob was also very accommodating with our requests and had such a friendly, positive attitude that really added to the atmosphere. It’s rare to come across someone so genuine and dedicated to great service. Thank you, Jacob, for making our meal even more enjoyable!

I almost NEVER leave reviews but the customer service at this location was SO terrible that I will NEVER come back, and will let everyone I can can know to avoid this location. We called a day in advance to let the restaurant know we had a group of 15 coming to celebrate my 40th birthday the following evening. They informed us that reservations are not available but that they have a waitlist system and recommended joining that about 45 minutes before the party. Tonight my husband called about 45 min before our arrival to let them know we would be coming. The person who answered the phone asked what time and said “okay, just check in when you get here,” leaving us under the impression we were on the waitlist. We checked in at arrival and they let us know that several large parties arrived before us and it would be a significant wait. We I asked about our call ahead, they told us “that didn’t count, because you have to be here to join the waitlist” (which by the way makes no sense because you can join the waitlist online supposedly). Frustrated but resigned to the fact, I did let the hostess (Joanne) know that they may want to let the person answering the phone know that they should make this fact know when we called ahead. We could have sent someone over 30 minutes before and have them already waiting had we known we weren’t on the waitlist but we were not given that impression whatsoever. We had young children in the party, which makes waiting for long periods of time already very difficult, combined with the fact that it was later in the evening. Joanne proceeded to shake her head at me and in a very snarky way reply “yeah, I’ll be sure to do that.” SO RUDE. Because the wait was so significant some of our party members ended up having to leave. I am just so frustrated that a fun night out was ruined by poor communication and an extremely rude host. We haven’t even sat down to eat yet (at this point, I’m fairly sure it’s been longer than we were even quoted) and honestly if we could get in somewhere else on this short of notice, we would just leave but at this point we’ve already waited so long, but I guess we will just stick it out. Also, the floor is filthy, trash everywhere, and food in areas where food is not even being served.

The customer service was great! The food was wonderful. I had the chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy and candid carrots. The carrots were so flipping good. I took leftovers home which means their serving sizes were good. The only renter I had was that I didn’t order another serving of the carrots to take home. Great job Chedders!
P.S. This was my first visit but it won’t be my last!

Service was horrendous. Waited 8 minutes for our server to take our drink order and the 40 minutes from the time we ordered food to delivery. We did not see the server or management during that time.
My wife ordered the Monte Christo, and it came out warm. The fries were lukewarm. I ordered a grilled chicken salad. Should not have taken that long to come out, especially not hot.
Had to ask for silverware and drink refills.
Good thing the company was good.

Croissants and salad were extremely good. Pretty skimpy on the onion rings. Two of us ordered chicken fried steak it should’ve never been served tons of Breading what are little brown dried up some meat inside. I cut into mine and all went on my lap. It was so dry and my nephew Cut into his, and it actually went over his Shattered We sent them back and order something else I took Forever. No biggie it happens but I think what irritated me the most was When we re-ordered it was one Lonely, piece of meat each no sides. There’s too many good places to eat in Wichita. We found out this one is not one of them.

Oh my gosh, this was my first time here and it was absolutely amazing! It was such a gorgeous atmosphere, it was quiet, relaxing, cozy and our waitress Abby was absolutely amazing, she went above and beyond. She was fast, extremely friendly, and made sure that we were taking care of every step of the way. She was so sweet, she even made sure that when we sat down we had a delicious buttered croissant to start out with which was absolutely delicious. You don’t find that great service everywhere you go but she was amazing and it was only her fourth day, and the food, the food was delicious oh my gosh it was so good, and the prices are absolutely perfect. You couldn’t ask for a better place to eat. Because of its great customer service, it’s romantic dining, fast service and great waitresses and waiters, I will definitely be back and I recommend this place to anybody who wants a really wonderful experience with home cooking

My friend and I had a wait tonight, even though there were lots of open tables. Sounds like they were short on servers.
We decided to share an appetizer. Started with normally delicious croissants, but tonight they were not warm or tasty. Got some queso with meat, which wasn’t too warm, either. Also had to ask for more chips, and request a refill on water.
