I went here with my friend for a nice dinner. We have been here before and food has been good so we were excited. HOWEVER, when we were seated the table was atrociously dirty and the hostess tried cover it up by brushing it ON THE FLOOR. Both my friend’s food and mine was either burnt or so so so dry! The cheese on the potato and the chicken sandwich was cold and clearly kraft singles. The steak that I ordered medium came out COLD AND RAW. I expected so much more from a restaurant that has been established since 1979 and has pleased me in the past. Cheddars… YOU WILL NEVER EVER SEE ME OR MY FAMILY AGAIN!

Fantastic from beginning to end starting with our server extraordinaire Kai. He was so efficient, attentive and fun ( and cute, too ). Then the warm honey butter croissants (complimentary every time!) followed by wonderful entrees of shrimp and country fried steak. The meals were excellent and the sides sublime. The grand finale was the strawberry cheesecake with a shortbread cookie crust. Amazing!

We went on a Thursday night. We were greeted and seated immediately. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I ordered the chicken pot pie and it was good, the honey butter croissant was ok, and the chips and salsa was delicious! My friend ordered the chicken tender platter and said the chicken was dry and the coleslaw was simply edible. My other friend ordered the steak and shrimp and said it was delicious! Overall, we were satisfied with our food but won’t be in a rush to come back.

After leaving another restaurant that we walked out of without eating dinner at, we went to Cheddar’s. I cannot say enough good about this place! We were seated reasonably quick. The place was clean, well lit, had up to date decor and had an over all great atmosphere. The staff was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The food came out quicker then expected and was simply delicious! Everything was so well seasoned. The price was reasonable for all you got as well. I highly recommend going here!

My wife and I had a wonderful time celebrating our wedding anniversary here the other night! It was the first time that we have been to cheddar’s scratch kitchen, but because I tend to favor restaurants that cook food fresh and from scratch, we decided that we most definitely needed to give this place a try. We are so glad that we did! I would like to start this review by recognizing our server, Kendall! She was an absolute joy!! Very friendly and personable, great sense of humor, and an overall Fantabulous personality!! We loved her! We will most definitely be requesting her as our server each and every time that we come back!

Cheddar’s is usually one of my favorites, and I have eaten at many different ones across the country. This one in Appleton, WI, has been very good in the past, and on this day, the service was outstanding, as always. The issue was that the salmon had too much salt, and it was cold. The chicken pot pie was ice cold in spots. With that being said, I will still go back based on how many great experiences I have had with Cheddar’s.
